finally, back to where we belong(on top of the table) after a decent show with a makeshift defense. Another 3pts..and the clean sheet run goes on

but there's a scary moment in the 2nd half when the score still 0-0. Thx goodness livorno players were a greedy bunch

now, to the do or die UCL match

Llorente is starting to shine...Hopefully he can continue his form improvement after xmas!
*
yeap. A forward who can hold the ball while 1-2 defender challenging him..sometimes we're missing badly upfront

yeap, Arturo is versatile. But it would be a waste to put him on the CB, when he can ran riot on opposition midfield when put in the center

Llorente is as strong as f**k. It takes 2-3 defender to shake him off...and its just right to say that Llorente manhandled the entire Livorno defense last night

i just can't wait till our UCL encounter with FCK..

some good news for us the fan in Asia zone

QUOTE
Juventus-Udinese kick off time changed
This Sunday’s Serie A clash between Juventus and Udinese has been brought forward to an 18:30 kick off.

The match had originally been scheduled for 20:45 but has been brought forward to allow children access to the curvas that otherwise would have been empty.

As a result of the move which has been agreed with the Lega Serie A, children can now sit in the Curva Nord and Curva Sud that had been closed as a result of fans’ discriminatory chanting against the people of Naples during their last game, a 3-0 victory over the Partenopei.

Due to the chants heard during that game, the Bianconeri have been banned from the Curva Nord for the meeting with the Zebrette while the Curva Sud has been closed for two games

so the match would be earlier at 1.30am local time

i just watched Conte UCL press conference pre-FCK match, and he's saying "we either WIN, our we're OUT"

having said that i think the team would go all out in a Gung-Ho mode tonight. So? a 4-3-3/4-1-2-3 setup again?

anyway, the 19man roster for tonight match, no Barza, Isla & Lich but i think if the Count opted for 4 man defense formation
it could look like this;

------------------ Gigi --------------------
Caceres --- Bonni --- Chiello --- Asa

----------------- Pirlo --------------------
---------- Pogba ----- Vidal ------------

------Tevez ----------- Vucinic ---------
------------- Llorente -------------------

1 Buffon
3 Chiellini
4 Caceres
5 Ogbonna
6 Pogba
8 Marchisio
9 Vucinic
10 Tevez
11 De Ceglie
13 Peluso
14 Llorente
19 Bonucci
20 Padoin
21 Pirlo
22 Asamoah
23 Vidal
27 Quagliarella
30 Storari
34 Rubinho

really important win for us. next is instanbul. we really need to secure a win there altho draw would be enough. forza juve.
*
i'm hoping for a win. And FCK to atleast hold Real Madrid to a draw in Denmark(which is highly possible).
bcoz they atleast deserved to played in Europa instead of Gala who getting raped at home and then getting
trashed by 10-men Ronaldo-less Madrid (and yes also a favor to FCK for beating Gala on matchday 4)

i find it odd that if Juve can bring themselves to challenge RM, how come we cant make Gala a piece a cake like RM did? ok..it's a silly question and im just talking from the top of my head but really?  wacko.gif
*
we did make em like a 'cake' during the last encounter but our poor finishing cost us

last i read this morning that Juve have the most attempt on goal in this season UCL, and shots on target only behind Bayern
But unfortunately we only score 5 goals from open play rclxub.gif

not sure if you have seen this for last year's track record...but yea it kinda echoes the same thing..lotsa chances, but not so clinical

yeap i post this stats last year too... Juve have no problem building up an attack & keeping on pressure on opponent, but
not clinical in front of goal. And talking about pressuring opposition if u watch Juve 2nd leg quarter final match vs Bayern
last season Juve did create chances after chances esp in the 1st half..but the team crumble after Mandzukic goal

having said that Juve have no problem going toe-to-toe against the best teams in the world(they proven that against Real Madrid
in both matches this season) but apparently the team needs to be more clinical in front of goal

personally looking at juve, i really admire their workrate, but sometimes i wonder if this is work hard or work smart kinda attitude. This especially shows up in big games where we really turn the screw for at least the first 60 minutes and then we run out of steam and become most vulnerable before recouping towards the end of the game. This is where 'smart' teams have been taking advantage of juve
*
those "smart" word in your post was 100 accurate & spot on regarding Juve, couldn't agree more rclxms.gif

anyway, if we do make it through, just take a look at our possible opponent in last-16 round

Man United
Chelsea
Arsenal/Dortmund
Bayern
PSG
Alt. Madrid
Barcelona

thoughts?

Juve team against Udinese tonight.

nearly a full squad, and both Barza & Lich are on the roster eventhough both still doubtful
no Asamoah bcoz of his 4th yellow card collected

1 Buffon
3 Chiellini
4 Caceres
5 Ogbonna
6 Pogba
8 Marchisio
9 Vucinic
10 Tevez
11 De Ceglie
13 Peluso
14 Llorente
15 Barzagli
16 Motta
19 Bonucci
20 Padoin
21 Pirlo
23 Vidal
26 Lichtsteiner
27 Quagliarella
30 Storari
34 Rubinho

anyway, still remember this? Hopefully Pogba did his magic once again against his favorite opponent Udinese
