Hi guys, good to know this place. I'm currently using my old sunbeam espresso machine I got from Melbourne. It has been 10 yrs and start to leak. I'm also looking for a decent burr grinder and I found this breville bes870. Which has both grinder and machine.

I've searched over myer and good guys (Aussie parkson n send) and they r selling at abt 650. Now, I know it's hard to ask somebody to bring it back. So, can we actually get it in Malaysia? I'm in Kuching. Do u thing they will do courier to Sarawak? Thanks.

I've seen harvey norman outlets carrying the BES920 before. Not sure about the BES870 though. Try calling Coffex.

that's the main reason i dont like capsule machine, the froth is just tooo thick!!
I'm not sure whether the milk frother is the same as my friend's nespresso machine (delonghi)

The delonghi frother has a magnetic spring at the bottom to spin the milk and at the same time the wall heat up the milk. When it heat up to a certain temperature, it stop. The problem with the froth is it spin too rigorously and too long so u get this super thick foam.
So if u can lift up the magnetic spring at the bottom (or somehow stop the spinning) when the milk start to heat up, u froth less.
But u need to make sure u put it back half way the milk is heating up so u dont just get a hot milk.

that is how i do it with delonghi nespresso machine. hope it help

Hye, what milk brand are you using ? I used to have that problem with certain milk brand such as the dutch lady ones.  For me, Farm fresh seems to do a great job and it's smooth without the bubbles. It holds well. Different milk brands seems to give different results.

I'm using F&N magnolia, the one yellow in colour.
I've seen some specialty cafe using it. So i guess it is ok.

Im still searching for the reasonable FRESH milk still.
The fresh milk in our country is not that fresh at all and the flavour is not quite right compared to what i had in melbourne.
what u guys think? any one tried using sabah desa milk?
