Having 9600XT quit some times now, it was great until Oblivion is out....
Anyway just wonder is 9600XT or Nvidia 6600Go better? Bit confuse cause the "Go" series is for mobile and seems no comparision between this 2. |

now i use omega soft. before this ati tools i oc my gc at 9% can help me to improve the oc.. second wheni oc my gcs should i to push m gc card my gc is powercolor 9600xt 256mb and 400/500. help plzzzzzzzz |

an Asus 9600XT 128Bit card user here. suprised there is a thread like this. anyhow. using the card for the past year and a half - went tru doom, HL2, NFSMW........and then came Oblivion. what are the settings you guys use to make the card smooth sailing ah? btw my card is stock 500/297. should i OC it a bit? will the performance better? becoz of oblivion......itchy hands to change to a X1600 card. ada AGP version so i'm happy. should i stay with this card or change? |

asking on behalf my friend for his HIS 9600XT
yesterday when he play wc3 for quite a time, the screen start to blur and like got many line go through (forgot whats the specific name call that) when viewing his monitor 1stly he thought its monitor problem, then he shift and use friend's monitor to test, the result same any 9600XT user face this problem before? and FYI, the fan is spinning well. |

did your fren overclock it? if so, maybe he could lower the clock to default speed..
if he didnt overclock it, then maybe the card is spoilt.. |
