My guess?

I don't think election is the 'main' issue la...
Main issue is a lot of stocks have really gone up far too much and far too long without a meaningful correction and for us to have this correction now, is very good moment.
So I have turned very positive about our market over the long term.
As usual, there is no rush to buy.
Be patient.
Wait for our comfort zone... and then ....

Indonesia is doing really well but I am not sure if I want to get 'in' there cos I think the 'timing' is past jor. ( I could be wrong lah, just my opinion on this issue)

What you want to learn about charting?

Start the basics lah...
Drawing of the trend lines..
Knowing where possible support and resistance..
Basic chart patterns..
Your lilins...
Then only start to learn your wonderful ABC soup indicators in charting...
like Bollinger Bands, Moving Averages lah.. the RSI la... etc etc...

If you post a chart..
I am sure we can always get a good discussion going... ( hopefully ) ...

And yeah... charting is always like a roadmap...
A roadmap assist you to go where you boldly want to go... tongue.gif
And try not to use a roadmap tell you where to go leh... tongue.gif

if u think Indonesia timing was past, then Myanmar could be your next destination

If a stock price remain yo-yo for quite some time, then breakout, is that term as bollinger breakout?
So far i use RSI as indication to buy in

lol.

If you look at trend technical analysis, KLSE is set to hit at 200 days EMA as suport since, 90 days EMA has been breach. that's the technical side.

fundamentally, i got a wild theory. Jib kor already announce the election among his big fish peers, so they dump and ikan bilis will collect and suffer. So when jib kor announce publicly, most people will sell, but big fish already waiting to sapu. then market greener than grass, and he will continue to brag how bullish the market is even US drive over the fiscal cliff.

sorry for blowing water notworthy.gif see market also no mood liau. laugh.gif

If the stock price remain yo-yo for quite some time, it means that the stock is stuck within a trading range.
Breaking out of this range still has many possibilities.
1. A real, strong and meaningful breakout of course is everyone's wet dream.
The stock erupts and a violent surge follows, causing the stock price to move drastically higher.
2. Bluff you breakouts.
Many small time traders can easily discover a stock stuck in a trading range.
After accumulating some shares, they act big, they think they can be the stock pipe piper.
These small timers then eat the stock causing the breakout..
Initially some traders will follow...
but once the buying momentum fades...
oh oh... the tipu breakout alarms starts to ring out loud..
and very soon the stock will falls back inside the trading range.
3. A stock could always still fall back to it's breakout point after breaking out...

I am not good or neither am I comfortable employing such tactics in my trading.
LOL! Maybe I am lousy. tongue.gif
And I don't like the waiting...
Waiting for a stock to breakout from its trading range is like trading a 9 month option...
everyday sitting and waiting.....
like waiting for a woman to give birth.. hehe
It can be very frustrating one...
and then when it breakouts...
we also have to pray that it breakout upwards... and not downwards... tongue.gif

Shit! After typing so long, I realise this is not your question. LOL!
A bollinger breakout is when the stock price closes above the bollinger band.
Yes, sometimes when a stock breakout from its trading range, depending on how strong the breakout, it could also break above the bollinger band.

JCY.... hmm.gif

all bad news out already

I have a feeling that this is the selling climax, looking at the vol and price movement for the past 3-4 weeks

But don't expect the price to straight shoot up lor... the HDD industry is dying. Unless JCY have something up their sleeve, I don't think the company can recover.... laugh.gif

The speed of decline in earnings is scary.
Next bad news?
JCY could start reporting losses once again... sweat.gif
