I feel you bro. But legs are the most largest muscle group in our body. Training them will increase our metabolism rate, which will increase our training effect

Hello, newbie here. smile.gif Don't have a squat rack in the gym I'm at. CF @ BV2.
Here's how I compensate for the lack of a squat rack. And I only do it when I have a spotter. biggrin.gif

Added on September 21, 2012, 11:16 pmYea, it isn't as safe as having a squat rack but better than nothing, IMO. biggrin.gif

No it won't, as long as you don't try to toss the weights up and "catch" them with your knees.

I guarantee you squats will stunt your growth. 101%.

Stunt your growth horizontally, that is, not your vertical growth (height). smile.gif

It sure has helped me stunt the growth of my tummy...

Doing squats actually activates the most muscles of your body, especially you're doing those super-heavy one.
I myself don't really like leg days, but I'm proud of my legs biggrin.gif At least it doesn't look like a chicken leg..

Well, I used to do squats with smith machine until the squat rack is available in my gym though not much people is using that squat rack.

From my experience of dealing with three injuries, I would say that lay off from the weight is a way. That was what I done for my shoulder injury. Taking some glucosamine, fish oil and avoid putting stress on the injured place.

For my knee and wrist, I lift weight to cure them. By having a tougher muscle around the joint, it helps to hold the join together and make it much less painful and after quite some time, I'm pain free.

It seems that the two advice are the opposite but hell I can't explain them sweat.gif
