QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Oct 11 2012, 07:53 PM) Maybe its could be the JRO03R binary drivers that i flashed a few days ago. Can i do a nandroid restore to stock. This will loose root. Will it wipe my apps & data? depending on when you backup.. it will restore (app/data state) to what you have at the moment u did the backup.. I know the original update files checks the build.prop for the correct version before updating. maybe due to the driver update ur build prop is updated to 3R.

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Oct 11 2012, 08:31 PM) Will the bootloader be lock after restore? nopes.. nandroid backup does not cover bootloader /edit bootloader is similar to our pc bios.. as the word means "boot loader", means it helps you load the boot image. kernel is the boot image and the operating system file is system image (like our windows folder) backup covers boot.img, system, data, recovery.img and cache. just browse into a nandroid backup folder you can see all the types backed up.. flashing bootloader is the most risky part. QUOTE(kof91 @ Oct 11 2012, 08:33 PM) nopes.. nandroid backup does not cover bootloader I think it will be easier to do a nandroid restore, root and then update thru recovery. Not going to update now coz my device has no issues ( touch wood ).The 3R binary update also has some fixes. All these infos will assist me when i need to update. Thx so much for yr kind input.

Thx so much for yr kind input. the latest update supercedes 3R.. no prob, actually to play with all these roms.. need to equip yourself with the background knowledge.. actually the method I post also easy.. since u already updated the booloader to 3.41.. just download the file and flash from recovery.. all your data/apps will be intact.

Somehow the 4.1.2 update might had fix the wifi screen flashing issue. I don't notice it anymore after updating. Anyone can confirm this?
