All UMTS2100 base station in my area is seriously all down, none of them have H signal, and instead tried all and get 3G speed and blue Led in huawei E372,..

after i did try everything, finally switch to UMTS900 tower, at least UMTS900 tower still can get HSPA+

and speed stable 9.5~10.5Mbps in IDM,.. whewww,.. sweat.gif

maxis very lame,. thanks to MDMA,..

plain front port of the mini atx casing, mf680 , no frills

mf680?

is it consistent? and after a while does the consistency reduce significantly?
*
its location and time dependent ,meaning if the signal in your area is strong, the Purple light ( DC-HSPA+ indicator) will stay forever ( almost) but currently my signal is only 30% @ 95dBm it still solid Purple , hence i would put my observation to another factor , Time, at this time not many pipu in my area is awake yet or that they have went away for work, hence the ample signal bandwidth for me to "Purple On"

are you saying the biz fiber plan? or the 4G plan?
i have this feeling because maxis did introduce unlimited package to public but closed at the end.
seems like they encounter congested problem or benefit reason which im not sure.
but it could be unlimited if they plan to attract new customers from other telco but i guess it wont be last long. flex.gif
just my sense, of course insider news is more accurate, please disclose more if you have  rclxms.gif
*
I was told this package will be introduced to current MOC users, ie we Legacy owners on "invitation basis" I was thinking of "giving up" my Legacy package but the name cannot be change cause i still need it to subscribe to LTE Special @rm159 meaning i have to maintain Legacy with all its Multisim and this LTE. = rm99+( all multisims ) + rm159 = rm321/mth sweat.gif sweat.gif

like that we better stay as 3G plan,... LTE price is  shocking.gif
*
I have to maintain all my current sims and take on the LTE Special as an additional, but if i can "rent out" all my 3G sims and maintain only the LTE, would it be perfect ? wink.gif

Anyeonghaseyo.

Came back from my Korean colleague's house, she is located at level 23 and Maxis is barely touching 1.5Mbps. Hopeless betul if living in high rise buildings in Malaysia. sweat.gif

She innocently asked why Malaysia telco didn't fix this, she said in Korea, once you complain about slow speed, the next day they will do is to install indoor antenna in your place. laugh.gif I told her Malaysia is like this one. tongue.gif

When she saw 1.4Mbps on Speedtest, she asked me how slow is this? I asked her what was the speed she got in Korea, she answered 100Mbps or 1Gbps, can't recall, she said. I told her if it is 100Mbps, that means this speed is slower by 100x. laugh.gif

Then she also commented our broadband is expensive, she only paid around RM 70 and can get such high speed in Korea.

In short, I told her, when it comes to Internet and public transport, please lower down your expectation by 100x compared to Korea. tongue.gif tongue.gif
*
I went to Korea in 2004. I tested the internet at the lobby of the hotel that i was staying. It was 10Mbps at that time when my hse was crawling on dialup via Telekom 1511 with speed of 384kbps laugh.gif

I guess it will be something like LTE Speed of 50~100Mbps now and they use CDMA handphones which dun utilise a simcard, same as USA Verizon , even the Verizon's CDMA iPhone dun have simcard slot too, what more Nanosim laugh.gif

No dial up is that expensive. Seems like some of the dialup info are jumbled up here. Dial up up to V.92 standards could only reach 56kbps, did not see any higher, I used dial up until 2003.

Jaring is 1511
TMnet is 1515 regardless is prepaid or postpaid.

all dialup cost 1.5 sen/ min to ISP and 1sen or 1.5 sen/min to Telco

unless you use ISDN which will provide you speed of 64kbps or dual at 128kbps at 3 sen/ min to ISP and 1.5 sen/min to Telco.
*
Thanks bro, you bring all those memories back , yes Jaring is 1511 and TM is 1515

and it was only 64kbps ,not 384kbps doh.gif

haha, oldkok talk now thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

i din subscribe ISDN that time and straight jumped to Streamyx 512kbps when its was available in my area then.......

later TM upgraded it to 1.5Mbps @rm88/mth.......

then after that i use DiGi Edge @rm68/mth > Celcom D68(rm68) and D98(rm98) > Maxis Legacy (rm99) + YES VP68 (rm68)
