QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Sep 27 2012, 04:01 PM) there is pro and con using soft/stiff spring. the choice is individual taste, as i want softer spring because i put comfort into my priority (but stability reduce). some people prefer stiff spring because it give better stability (but less comfort, bumpy). I think since FLX adi revise front ARB, so softer spring will not sacrifice stability too much. Anyway, u better confirm shock absorber too, dun know for FLX got revise or not. Added on September 27, 2012, 4:27 pmQUOTE(iskazulka @ Sep 27 2012, 04:02 PM) gogoman, u free meh? i want to feel how stiff is flx spring. u come try blm lor. QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 28 2012, 10:09 AM) Standard shock is oil base. After 2-3 years usage, oil seal is weaken and will leak hydraulic fluid. Ride become bumpy and floating on highspeed. Difference between oil/gas: oil base1) Suction base. It pull the weight of the chassis down. 2) Comfortable 3) More expansive compare to gas base gas base1) Reject base. It extend up to the spring tolerence, forcing the spring to work at maximum force. Very sportty and accurate feedback on high speed cornering. 2) Can cause vomit. Bumpy ride. 3) Cheaper than gas base 4) If it fail, no physical symptom to inspect. But the whole car will sway like Shakira, very dangerous. My front will always go for oil, and my rear will be gas. Gas is cheaper anyway. Bro, do you know any absorber which is softer than BLM stock absorber?

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 28 2012, 11:37 AM) Nick. The tint I bought was crystal blue safety tint. Heat rejection quite good. How safe? I don't know, but its thickness is really sumthing. I used to heard window glass produce "tang" sound when hit by small stones, but now it sounded like "tok", feels very solid. Price is reasonable, provided I tear my old tint by myself, otherwise they will charge RM50 extra to remove your old tint. Iska, the gas abs for rear was 85/side include installation in Teoh Brothers. Buying stock from sparepart shop can get as low as 45/side up to 60/side, depends on how fren u r with the tauke. Oil abs will be about RM20 above the gas abs price. Front, don't know. After you tear off, how you remove the glue? i plan to tear off my rear tinted, bulged until almost can't see the car behind. Today go to ask about the tappet noise. Mechanics said our Campro use hidraulic valve lifter, can't adjust like those old school rocker arm...change to new tappet is not recommended since we dun have alternative part, ori part will make noise again also, so i just cancel my mind on that, no choice. Anyway, finally i change my spark plugs, all serviced for 57k mileage adi. Change to NGK G-Power Platimum. Look at those plugs, i guess my 74k engine AF ratio is still quite healthy. See on those gap, the plug is really way over its duty duration, but FC still good. Change every 20k is too overkill IMO » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 29 2012, 02:19 PM

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 29 2012, 03:54 PM) Abort jor for atleast 2 years, no point to update as I couldn't find any new material to write about, but plan to resurrect it soon. According to your spark plugs, your car is burning just right. Very well done. However, the plug can still last another 50k km no problem(without considering the existence of FS as the previous 70k km you did without FS) And yes, teppet noise can be fix without changing it.Is it using thicker oil? The mechanics said can use some kind of chemical to wash the tappet, but recommend do it when EO is due...Can kindly share your view? This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 29 2012, 11:00 PM

QUOTE(dares @ Oct 1 2012, 01:02 PM) Speaking of the signal stalk, do any of you manualfags have any complains about unable to signal and change gear at the same time? Yes, can't do it same time, last time i did complain about it... But now no complain adi, NO SIGNAL WILL BE GIVEN becos gear change and speed is prioritized.
