Today my wife is the driver, she pick up faster than me and just treat the PC as her Honda City from Cheras to IKEA, didn't bother the FC and eco score (end up eco score only 50-60). However, she managed to get 28.5km/l after off engine. Amazing.

Maybe faster pick up + remain constant speed = better FC?
*
If eco score is more than 50, our pc should already get a good fc. But if it go beyond 60 - 80, we will get the best fc ever. So for me just drive as a normal but dont accelerate hard. It will kill the fc. Cheers

Totally agree. ^^ If u keep pressing pedal and change speed. Seem it effect ur PC FC ^^

Wow... got quite a scared as today in Sunway a driver knock into my PC as doing illegal turn and my side mirror got damage.. TT

To add to bad day. Just woke up and find 2 ppl in Vios attempt to hijack my PC outside my house. Lucky the dog woke me up and spoil their day.

Anyone got any suggestion for security for their PC ? WIsh to put GPS tracker and steering lock now
*
Well bro, thats how people drives in kl. Very careless & selfish, just dont care about others. Lucky for you nothing happen to ur PC. As for a start just get a normal steering lock, it acts as a deterence but you cant stop them from steeling car. If you wish to install a gps tracker, you must make to choices.
1. Self monitoring
2. Aided monitoring
Both are the same, the only different is one got people monitor for you and you pay more for the service. I'll try to get you the list of all gps product in malaysia.

My MG currently pakai IES...but GSM/SMS type la... Like i mention earlier...put simcard on d device n installed it under driver' cabin... We can received notification thru sms and we can stop the engine by sending sms or call... We also can call to the car but only one way...cant communicate...but we can hear sound from the car...
We can stop the car dont know exactly where location...can ask operator to track the simcard...
We also can activate to auto arm or auto lock the car when we forgot...
Better check...i dont think ade GPS yg self monitoring... Cause it will need a centre to give satellite service...
*
Tramigo boleh bro. It's because I've seen the presentation. Quite impressive because Ada mapping

Still D mode and hold brake or put on P... N cannot kan??!

Just shift to P and relax, don't need to press the pedal brake. If you shift to N, the engine won't charge the hybrid battery

imran6789...dah check tramingo website...it is more to gps tracker kan...just add to current alarm system... But dont know installation need wire cutting or not...
But for IES...it is alarm system...and work syncronize with current alarm...need wire cutting... Bg yg risau warranty..not applicable la...

But important thing..all device ni very dependent on gsm signal...if we park somewhere no phone signal...u wouldnt get notify... But u will know there is no phone signal when car lock beeping more than normal...and that u better find new parking area...haha
*
Any system that can detect door opening or engine running, just need to tap the wires. If you need to shut down the engine will need wire cutting. Well bro, just choose where you park and you'll know it's safe. tongue.gif

Sure P? Not B...
*
Sure bro but sorry if i'm wrong. If i'm not mistaken B is engine braking when you go downhill, for example Genting road. If the PC is fully loaded, engine braking is good to ease the brakes. You don't want to over heat the brake while going downhill. Have experience it once and damn no brakes (my old car)

Just collected my Aqua Mica Prius C today  thumbup.gif.

Nearly went home without the car key because the SA had the key in his pocket when I drove off but luckily he remembered on time and called me so I waited for him by the side of the road to pass me back the key. Was told that I could still continue driving without the key but won't be able to start the car again later unless i have the key with me tongue.gif.

Thanks bro thumbup.gif , the shop showed few sample of the same metallic blue. Everything looks the same but we manage to get the closest match. The cost of the TRD kit is RM1600 and it comes with the LED (no extra charge). The car itself is still the same height but the TRD kit make an additional plus minus 1 inch lowered (looks only). So far it doesn't effect the FC because the TRD kits are light.

Nice, imran6789!! the front LED is awesome! how much for that?

Added on October 11, 2012, 10:27 amI think with front light, fog light and the LED on at night. It definitely will scare off a lot of drivers at front.
*
Well bro aragongon, my next project will be the front small light and the rear number plate light first. Just need to change the bulbs only and will not effect the warranty. icon_rolleyes.gif

to aragongon,

Yup. Agree. But this mod seem like the original stock ^^ . Wonder if its ok to go through bump. Even original big bro prius got problem going through bump as when i change to my sis car. It always scratch the bottom car with stock car as its too low d.

QUOTE(aragongon @ Oct 11 2012, 02:20 PM)
I guess we need feedback from imran6789. If he has no problem, then we could consider that. ^^
*
Well guys, after installing the TRD kit and driving it around town. So far no problem overcoming the speed bump, still a lot of clearance from the bumps. Not to forget going in and out of our shopping complexes, no problem at all. thumbup.gif

But there is only 1 thing that you must be aware. Is only when you side park or turning into a tight corner, the part where the LED's are is a bit jutting out. Dont wanna scratch the TRD kit. hmm.gif

My opinion/advice is the TRD kit on the PC are awesome especially with the LED thumbup.gif

Well, its a relief to all PC owners then. None of us owners are effected. But the problem is due to a faultysticky power window switch. sweat.gif

the TRD kit will affect the FC much? after and before?
*
Nope it won't at all. Things that I can think of that will affect the FC -

1. Bigger rims = heavier rims
2. Transfer household items into the car doh.gif

The TRD kit doesn't weigh that much actually. You can actually hold them with one hand

Added on October 11, 2012, 10:52 pmTo engah & keanutan.

That why we need the forum to keep owners updated, especially when it comes to problem to the PC. Give everybody a head start. Use every opportunity during the warranty period. Just my two cents.
