D80, gogogo...

if i'm not mistaken nd filters limits the light going in without affecting the colour. that way it's possible to shoot at a lower shutter and bigger apperture i think. it comes in different stops. very useful when taking waterfalls was u can can rduce ur shutter speed by a few stops depending on the filter.

i think CPL is "Circular Polarising Filter"
PL (Linear Polarising) and PL-CIR (Circular Polarising)

CPL n PL-CIR i think both r the same 1 quar:P any sifu can teach.
