LOH not required when you have 4-6% LS... I doubt Unity will increase your survivability drastically too compare to SOJ although it has 100+ armor from strength and 200-300 LOH. Unity are sought after for having high base stats, bVe, avg dmg and being more affordable compared to top-end rare ring.

To achieve that, consider a higher CHD amulet, higher strength chest, trifecta glove, replacing Wailing Host with a DPS rare ring/Unity, a higher DPS rare ring then Loyalty Insult, DD to Inna pants with strength, IC boots with 180-2x0 strength...
