I have been farming mp 7 for the past 3 months with my housemates. Just recently I go mp 10 and try to solo with my new gears, before this I was using WW barb and I don't have any problem with RD at all but I really tired with it so I switched to WT few days ago.

Thank you for your guidance here. Will share my exp once I try that out.

i rolled a barb because i keep getting barb's item when playing monk.
there are total of 13 items to be equipped, i got 8 9 items from dropped, inclusive of IK chest & glove.

tested HoTA yesterday.... quite nice to play with... it seems can generate life and fury when crit. but when using on a RD affix mob .. feel i die damn fast. Any one can advice?

You have got a very power barb there.

Just to answer your question, for me, SOJ/Cold damage is meant for comboing with echoing fury.
You know fear on hit could be quite annoying at times.
When the monsters run, it will result most of our hits hitting air when we do WWing (and hence shorter WoTB, to some extent).
So, SOJ/Cold damage would come in handy in slowing down the movement of monsters when you sprint/tornado & whirlwinding.

It just happened that you got an echoing fury (one of the top echoing fury?).
Are you going to WWing? Or build a WWT hybrid?
If yes, SOJ/Cold damage is a sweet sweet thing to have.
If you're not going to WWing, i think you just stick to your poison SoJ.

Just a note, I find you have rather low LS/LOH. I think this is the reason why you have issues with damage reflection. Higher the DPS you have, more damage you get in return.
