I just finished degree in accounting and finance, thinking to apply jobs in sg but not sure what kind of jobs yet.. some seniors told me that if i got a job which is too specialized in banking line, it would be very hard to apply for some other jobs in the future, like what u said in your post.

I felt regret to join banking!... My banking colleagues are very interested to their jobs that's why they decided to join banking since they graduated till they retired!... Their plan is to jump here and there to get better offer from others banks (General Banking will always be d normal salary, dont expect you can earns more!

I heard my fren said sg gals like to marry and become house wife!... Actually, working in sg is very stressful in corporate world! that's why more gals likw to become housewife to do their own/ family biz!...

I will suggest renew the contract via agent for peace of mind. I learned my lesson.

My experience with first landlord was nightmare. I paid rental on time every month and occasionally internet connection being cutoff. Then bang, after 16 months staying there, the electricity cutoff. I called to SP and asked what happen (i have the name and IC of the landlord for verification) and the person told me that the bill havent been settled for 3 months. I already paid rental for subsequent month (it happen end of the month) and cant reach the landlord. End up reporting to police (who cant do anything as its civil case, unless I use lawyer). I moved out and landlord's dad said when his son settled his problem, he will paid back the money. Till now no news. 1 month rental and 1 month deposit burned.

All due to the fact I cant get agent involved as contract is only 1 year and its expired.

I'm 27 yrs old, having 3 yrs experience in Marketing, PR field. Graduated from Swinburne Australia with degree in Marketing and MBA (International). Currently, i plan to advance my career in Singapore. What are the chances i can land a job in Marketing field (prefer in MNC company.) What are the salary ranges i should expected?

for salary negotiation, how should one start the opening sentence?
for eg they have offered u $xxx per annum. But you would like a higher figure.

Experienced credit analyst (15-20 yrs experience) can draw up to A$20k a month with specialisation esp in commodities or energy sector.
Banks here do not regard audit and advisory work experience (at least for my bank), if you apply for credit analyst position.
