I'm not on high position unfortunately. Completing my CFA in 2.5 yrs doesn't really help my job. It would help me probably if I'm in my first 5yrs of career, but after 20yrs working i regret shortening my life with the CFA.

U also know they will only offer 1.6K- 1.8K SGD to M'sian dont care of you're Overseas/ Public / Private University freshgraduated in M'sia? That's very truth!

For 2nd scenario, Maybe, she feel like get bully by the employer with the cheap paid! That's why she didn't accept the offer and continue to work in KL!... Is that their offer the salary to M'sian without SG working experiences is after convert to MYR? For example, they offer you 2K SGD X 2.40 (Exchange rate)= 4800 MYR!... And, they don't think of you can get 4.8K in KL!...

No need expat to earn that kinda figure. A Msia banker (who is actively involve in this thread) and his wife already earning more than $10K/month individually, working for a foreign bank based in Sg with headquarters in London . Also generating high incomes thru food blogging website. Imagine with a combine household income of more than S$20k per month ! It is as good as an expat.

It is Postgraduated... You are graduated from UK? How do you define an employees with UK degree? From my perspective, many employees hold australia and USA degree's are in managerial roles nowadays!... My hometown got many UK degree holders went back to kampong to do family business!... Sigh....

Whether jurong, or woodlands can be CBD area not really depends entirely on gomen. Whether companies want to be located there or not. Gomen also talk about expanding commercial area in Marina Bay area. This doesn't sound like encouraging business to relocated to other places. I think the key is financial services need to relocate, because those are the businesses crowding in current CBD. They should implement incentives for business to relocate to jurong or woodlands.

Of course they have bachelor degree lah... Else, how can pursue master? I heard of some of the universities can allow bachelor degree with 1st class honour can skip for master study and straight away get PhD study!... But, I never heard of without degree can study master wor....

Not necessary!... Who tell you that Degree holder cannot work in restaurants? Two example for you:
1. A friend from my colleague work in SG bread shop!... He hold UK degree!...
2. A private uni 1st class honour degree work as associate branch manager in fast food restaurant sg!... That's his 1st job in sg! Now, he managed to changed job and work in much more good company!

U are very good! How many years you're working in sg? Now, u have enoguh saving and can go to further study. SG got quite many institutions with offer overseas universities degree and master programme!...

U sounds bias to UK degree and private uni?... To be frank to tell you... Private uni also quite difficut to get 1st class honour! Local uni are much more easy to get 1st class honours! As many courses from local uni also got a few dozens of 1st class honours comes out (That's very horrible! Do you think ppl dont suspect their uni to giving 1st class like selling vege in pasar?)!... He is study hotel management and his course is more to case studies!... D UK degree hold international business management cert!....

NUS is vert reputable uni in sg! Those graduated from NUS are easy to get a jon in sg and their employers dont care of what majot they studied! Coz they recognize those NUS graduated are top student and capable!... I heard my fren said sg gals like to marry and become house wife!... Actually, working in sg is very stressful in corporate world! that's why more gals likw to become housewife to do their own/ family biz!...

Actually, Master got structure A (100% Research based), B (Coursework+ research) and C (Totally coursework - Which known is vr useless master in academic field that can't further PhD after graduated!)... Phd also got Strcture A and B which is more similar to master!...

But there is a label/board right before entering autogate stated... "singaporean/PR"... Yesterday I went to JB and tried autogate but it seems not working (means the machine rejected the passport reading and it's not about the issue of finger printing). When I passed manual gate, I asked the officer.. they said need to get access card. So, I checked to the official website and this morning I went to ICA Lavender for eIACS, the officer told me that I can just pass through autogate using passport. My EP was issued since Jan13.

Anyway, just scan the first page of M'sia passport without cover?

That mean EP holder noneed to apply for anything but just go to the autogate and scan the passport page with pic?

i wonder where the autogate is. i have been scanning passport via the access card lane thinking it's already the fastest to clear checkpoint. didnt even know the existance of autogate.

Is the one you are using. You can either use access card (if you apply for one) or the passport.

Singaporeans girls are very good at project financing with the "project" being their husband/bf and "financing" being their husband/bf salary.
They will ringfence their project cashflow until just enough of it remains for their husband/bf to spend daily.

It seems that the public singaporean and various opposition party have put a halt on such policy....does that mean that those intended to b pr shud do now else it will b hard to apply such in future or I would rather say we shud b pr asap for those who qualify else we nid to face the risk of being declined in our work pass application due to determination by sg in general to reduce in reliance of foreign work power...

I bliv this will affect all malaysian and pr in singapore as there are political party that voice out dissatisfaction for current pr as they enjoy full privilege but do not fulfill the role as sg citizen such as national service...

Anybody are of concern of this issue?
