look at the REITS CHART..

The index is currently facing resistance of 820 and currently trading sideway. We have to watch for the potential reversal as currently 20D and 50D are trending horizontally. Breaking the critical support of 800 will kick start the correction of Singapore REITs index.

this is one of the reason,.. i am cautious in adding.

only consolation is the capcom rights issue.

capitaland commercial trust rights issue 166 for 1000 at SGD1.363.

was told my my local broker to confirm, ready funds by monday oct 9.

they will do all the rest.


CCT today price 1.65.

been thru with aims, kdc and now capitacomm.

yes, i do that sometimes too.

but as a rule, i only do that if i actually need the cash.

if not, i rather let it stay there, whatever happens.

i only hold a few counters, not interested to get into new ones.

prices are so high... many are at all time high...

actually thinking of selling partial kdc, capcomm, suntec.

these, for me, hv appr 18-36% in 2 years.

like others hv said, using local brokers is very easy, saves u the hassle of running over to the island.

if u buy for long term keep like me, it's really fine; bad for trading - too costly.

a big advantage is when it comes to drip (div reinvestment plans), rights issue... u just tell them u want or not, no need to run to singapore to do.
