err... no, i am not interested.

but total SGX REIT market can grow with that, there will be higher interest, more funds, incr liquidity, more dynamic.

good for all reits.

it is SGX, not SGS.

do not blindly buy just becos u see a high yield.

.. why is the yield is high?
.. the yield no. is historical, it is based on the last div payout; if div goes down, price will go down with it.
.. do u know what props they have, what tenants, when leases expiry?
.. how much industrial space is available in sg now, vacant?
.. sg may get into tech recession.
.. industrial reits are the poorest performers at this time.

need to understand a few more things, then u decide.

not sure if anyone else is watching...


us bond yield touched 2.49% last night, up 12bps in one session.

later tonight, there will be the impt jobs report, the last big report for fed's dec 14 meeting.

if this report is good, bond yield may cross 2.5%; fed's planned rate hikes may come faster and more frequent than before.

reit prices will come under more pressure.

u must HOLD the shares on (or after) ex-date to get div.

if hold and sell on (or after) ex-date, u get the div... but of course, the selling price lower la..

sometimes, the price bounce back nicely after ex-date adjustment.



no such thing as get div just by buying and selling on same day, same price!

this is a universal rule for all dividends, whether reit or regular stocks.

the same rule applies.

if u are holding the share on or after the ex-date of the NEXT div, u will get that div.

div is declared 2 or 4 times a year for sgreits.

sgreits look stable in the last few days.

in line with us bond yield hovering at 2.4%.

one more week, after fed action/inaction dec 14, it will be much clearer.

will be ready for keppel dc and suntec. tongue.gif

very nice to see sgreits moving up or stable.

kdc, 1.25, very nice!

likely due to to dow +300 last night, us bond yield stable 2.4%, weaker $.

a few more days to fed dec 14.

i think a 25bps hike is or or less priced it, hope no surprise.

the recent exercise price was 1.155.

1.16 is a good price if bought in open market.

if one has been buying and collecting since debut, avg should be <1.05.

ipo price was 0.93 2 yrs ago, today 1.24.

think it can reach 1.35.

all major banks here can do that.

u just need to talk to the broker, sign some forms, deposit money.

"trade" will kill u due to high brokerage fees.

"invest" will be more appropriate, more so for REITS.
