QUOTE(prince_mk @ Feb 3 2017, 08:40 PM) be patient. what comes up surely will come down. Ya but by not buying = loss of opportunity to get dividends. The price can also go higher... Btw, what's Keppel R?

QUOTE(gark @ Feb 8 2017, 07:07 PM) My free cash is invested short term investments, so it earning around 3-5% yield. I always have free cash at standby, at minimum 20% of my total portfolio but usually much much more than that, so it will never get depleted. Its part of my portfolio balancing. Unless of course super mega sale of the century comes, then i will go below the 20%. Care to share where you get 5% yield?

QUOTE(prince_mk @ Feb 10 2017, 11:11 PM) Usually i buy 1000 units for price less than sgd2. If more than sgd2, will collect every 100 or 200 or 300 units. Depends how much you invested. For this quarter, I get ard sgd550. Will buy more to increase the dividend. Wait till my SGD FD matured. Actually I meant that how much is the min purchase/counter (SGD1k/2k/3k/etc) For me, I will only buy if I have SGD4k You put in SGD FD? What's the rate? Better to put bond fund. Can get ~4% pa. QUOTE(prince_mk @ Feb 11 2017, 08:06 AM) As I said, for counter less than Sgd2, I will buy 1000 units. Example : Croesus Sgd0.85 x 1000 units = Sgd850 The Sgd FD is going to mature. Will put in Sg reits and ASX Good luck! You use units not value in SGD? But eg buying SGD850 will still kena charge SGD10 vs buying SGD2000 which will be charged SGD10 also what.

QUOTE(prince_mk @ Feb 12 2017, 08:06 AM) Update us which strategy u think the best. U look at d charges of sgd10. As for me, I focus to average down the price. Which is more practical. Time will tell too Actually I am looking at both. Brokerage fees and price of the share. It's what I pickup from Dividend magic.

Guys, what's your opinion between mapletree commercial reit vs keppel reit?
I see that keppel have better occupancy, better diversified.
Mapletree is hybrid where majority of the income come from vivo mall,

QUOTE(elea88 @ Feb 14 2017, 04:27 PM) i hv Keppel Reit from 2014 at very high price 1.20... then added at .89 in Jan 16 and add some more last year end about 1.00.. so, i am not adding anymore KR. I added recently FRASERS COMMERCIAL TRUST.... which yield appx 7% above. U can go take a look. They also hv Aud prop. 4 times a yr div.. Recently just EX D. so, u monitor for good price to enter before the next DIV. Already bought. Thinking of switching my Mapletree with Keppel or keep my Mapletree.
