QUOTE Manchester City and Chelsea given FFP wake-up call by Uefa ![]() Problem UEFA. Manchester City and Chelsea have been given a wake-up call by Uefa, who have taken the first steps towards implementing their financial fair play scheme by hitting a range of European teams. 23 clubs competing in Uefa competitions this season have had their prize money temporarily withheld, as the organisation seeks to encourage sides to be financially stable. While no Premier League sides have currently been affected, this strict approach could cause shockwaves through clubs including Manchester City and current European Champions Chelsea, who are both heavily financed by outside investors Sheikh Mansour and Roman Abramovich. As part of Uefa’s requirements, clubs must provide information regarding the status of any overdue payments by the end of June, with 23 sides falling foul of repayment rules. These clubs include European heavyweights such as Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Fenerbahce, who will receive no prize money while investigations continue. The only side competing in this season's Champions League to so far be affected are Spanish side Malaga, who finished fourth in La Liga last season. Any club under further investigation has until the end of September to provide an updated situation with regards to overdue payments towards other clubs, employees and tax authorities. Meanwhile, Uefa’s strict stance will remain in place until repayments have been made or until a final decision by the Uefa Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) is taken. sosej |

QUOTE(syazwan @ Sep 13 2012, 02:31 PM) & it's the beginning of UCL too. For Mata, Chelsea and Spain reach agreement to rest him for international call up.for me both matches are important. if sked injury risk then no use splurge 80 millions. it's part of the game. training oso can injured. Marin didnt play any competitive games and got injury during training.. my only scare for overuse player is Mata & 'luckily' he didnt get any call ups this week which is good for him to get some rest. i heard Southampton oso one of the weakter team in epl but what i saw they almost snatch some points from both no.1 & no.2 of epl last season. & bare in mind players like Moses & Cesar didnt join since pre season. it's always hard to gel with ur new teammates if u dont join in much earlier part of preseason. Which is why Kagawa & Chicharito didnt play for Olympic. Counting since day 1 Charity Shield, it has been only 7 matches so far for the players (1 Charity Shield, 3 league matches, 1 Super Cup, 2 International matches) doesnt sounds too heavy for me.. yet. time will come for rotation esp during league cup on 25th/26th. + it has been like forever we use weaker side in the carling cup (except GK -> turnbull) hope to see cesar and moses debut. Oscar for starting 11. |

QUOTE(ericling @ Sep 15 2012, 05:15 PM) FINALLY EPL IS BACK! it more like defensive approach to me. These 2 weeks has been so boring. I actually still think that Oscar need more time before he steps into the first XI. We're flooded in the attacking trio, so the only place he can grab a place is at the double pivot which Oscar still need some experience at that position. I will go for this XI tonight. Cech Iva Terry Luiz Cole Lampard Mikel Ramires Hazard Bertrand Torres I hesitated between Ramires and Sturridge. But I think Ramires will be a better choice here because we need someone to track back and help the midfield a little bit. QPR midfield can be deadly if they're on form. They are a pretty decent team, look down on them and we'll be punished quite easily. Depends on Terry and Cole fitness, else, Cahill and Bertrand in for their place and Moses to start on the left flank. I do think Mata need some rest, he looks a bit worn out and RDM said he's not sure whether QPR game is too early for him. We've Juventus coming in the midweek too. So I think resting him would be a wiser choice. |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Sep 15 2012, 11:53 PM) dammit rdm. dafuq u sub danny for the final 10 mins? shud drop torres for next match. no contribution at all. the problem not lies on striker.it lies on the pivot. fixed that can see our striker getting more supply. Added on September 15, 2012, 11:55 pmRDM look very inexperience manager and too degil. This post has been edited by yinchet: Sep 15 2012, 11:55 PM |
