So when he will start using oscar in first eleven. U paid 25m just to play as supersub? I don't know why he still think lampard as a key player? He should utilize Ramires energy, strenght to partner Mikel at midfield while start to use oscar on the right side. Lampard no longer a key player or untouchable. Look at giggs n scholes, only play for certain games. He should accept the fact that his time already pass. But I don't see RDM will changed that. He prefer to see Meireless.
*
dun think its lampard fault here. He never saying anything about play times. he also hinted that his times is near end. no longer can contribute as he use to.
it is the manager problem. unwilling to test all possible strategy. using the same thing over and over again.
it get analyze others.

In short RDM is too degil to use the same strategy. what the point if it can't work.
if Roman wanted a new manager plz david moyes the man.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Sep 16 2012, 04:19 PM)
i noticed as well. does torres even bear a remote likeness to drogba? absolutely not. yet everyone from cech to ivanovic to ramires all insist on knocking in high balls for him to 'win' in the air. the few times where we played proper passes into him, he does something positive i.e : a quick pass out to ramires which was crossed for hazard but the latter failed to beat cesar, and the other instance where he controlled the ball on the right, dribbled through a couple of players and got a good shot away with his weaker foot. before anyone brings up that neat pass from hazard which he messed up by dribbling straight into ryan nelson, how many times did we actually give him the opportunity to do so?

yes studge looked lively. but how many times was he forced to drop deep to receive the ball, dribble out wide, etc. where's the service? if he starts the next three games and suffers the same fate as torres we'll all start crying out for the no.9's return. then if he struggles again, we'll be calling for falcao. the cycle will continue for as long as we disregard the midfield and style of play issues.

i took the time to watch liverpool's game yesterday. although they haven't won a game, i must admit brendan rodgers has a proper philosophy in place. you could see even deep in injury time with the scores level, they just refused to punt the ball up aimlessly, knowing full well they don't have a heskey / carroll upfront. rodgers has successfully hammered this principle into their thick skulls and he's fielding the personnel which he believes are able to perform in this system. it's called utilising your players' strengths. heck some would even call it plain ol' common sense. if robbie continues in the same manner i'm afraid our blip will come even sooner than expected.

haha.
indeed, well said.
The problem still persist as Chelsea still play drogba power type attack.
I dun understand y they still failed to see so. doh.gif
They should have more direct and fast attacking passing to Torres.
I have the felling RDM is now on the loss of ideas and blinded by his degilness. doh.gif

Disappointing performance by Torres and Mikel. Both of them need to be spank. Romeu and sturridge can take their place anytime.
Lampard look better in deep position.
Oscar performance is godly world class.

LOL wth  rclxub.gif TERRY try to block the shot but it go thru his leg, is his fault, he try to play offside trap, is his fault but at least both of it he show effort to defend. But MIKEL gave the ball away and then farking standing there  mad.gif  and then continue did not press the guy infront of him that play the assist  vmad.gif Player makes mistake we know, but he totally show no effort. If there is award i will vote him as the laziest player on the pitch, i have never seen a DM that "walk" so much on the pitch  laugh.gif

Cahill is already way better than him. just matter of times cahill take his place.

Oscar delighted with Chelsea double (and Piazon has found job as his translator!)

'I am very happy with the two goals on my debut but I would have been much happier if the team had managed to win,' he said through his countryman Lucas Piazon.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Sep 21 2012, 04:55 PM)
Overall I think we lacked commitment for the total duration of 90 mins, vs juve. Our goals were down to individual brilliance from Oscar, nothing else. I’m quite annoyed with the lack of pressing from us, especially after watching real and city go head to head, with both teams pressuring each other like crazy in both halves of the pitch. When we tried to close down juve’s players I feel we did it somewhat half heartedly, oft-times it was them who managed to pressure us into an aimless clearance from our back four and cech. Admittedly, it doesn’t take much effort for them to do so.

Mikel was very poor with his distribution and that final giveaway was punished instantly by juve. Lampsy made a carbon copy mistake closer to goal earlier, but wasn’t capitalized on by marchisio. However I think terry was too hasty in trying to play the offside trap and our midfield was also in dreamland prior to the killer pass for their striker. Ashley did well, but iva couldn’t support that right flank. I think rami strayed more to the middle this time, but again when he’s out on the right he looks lost. Vidal’s goal shouldn’t have went in, he was hobbling for God’s sake. This highlights the lack of commitment I mentioned earlier.

RDM didn’t help our cause by bringing in Bertrand at the 70th minute mark. Made no sense to me at all that one, trying to defend for 20 mins against the best side in serie A. Last but not least I was disappointed with nando. Although there wasn’t much service, I wasn’t impressed with how he didn’t really hassle their defenders and just be a general nuisance in their penalty box. He wasn’t really fighting for the ball, compared to late last season when he closed down opposition players into hurried clearances / mistakes, etc. Could use some work on his positioning as well, although he was open when mata got through and shot into the side netting. Clearly needs to show more aggressiveness in his game. If studge was fit, I’m pretty sure he would’ve been given a go.

TBH RDM is not an experience manager. only 163 match.

Anyway, got to agree with you every1 is playing at a slow pace except the new boys and the mata.
Mikel look to relax as if there were no contender in his DM position. hope RDM use Romeu instead of warm the bench.
Torres is going to look bad on him as his effort on the field is getting terrible.

Anyway hope to see Hazard-Oscar-Mata play together. laugh.gif

alonso and fellaini.

both sounds great. but i dont know their style of playing. are they defensive enough?

Moutinho is a better buy.
he similar to Meireles can operate on holding and attacking.
he might be better than Meireles. hmm.gif

no this fm thing all again?  i think we should fix our problem rather than try buying, we have plenty of talent in the bench... so rotation could be good for them to show their worth

We need some1 with good passing ability.
too bad McEachran is on loan.

I think he is good enough. more than capable compare to certain player who contribute little. tongue.gif
Well most of our player were never being given much chance to plays.
lately there were quite a few ex-blues were doing very well. something must be wrong with our policies there. biggrin.gif
