Its not iphone needs quad core. Its dual core already over di. S3 needs quad core. I sold my HTC One X its so called quad core too lag and alot bugs.

Like windowsphone single core also faster than android with dual core it will beat android quad core.

Dont dream la samsung only can capture market share cant beat iphone sales.

the question is, (to those who wants quad core to multitask), can we really multitask on the phone? I mean, erm, in PC, people play game while waiting for youtube to load, while downloading movies, maybe some even watch youtube video while rendering, while skyping with webcam.

But in phone, what do you really multitask? when you make a phone call, do you do browse website on your phone? when you watch youtube on android, can you whatsapp at the same time? once you "minimize" the youtube, the video even stop playing let alone downloading. what did you really multitask with your phone?

Well , i can pause my dead trigger while choosing song and download a youtube video and back to my game after that .

what apps did you use to download the video? cuz i've been searching for it, last time they used to have it, but now youtube bans all the apps in android market.

Hello. I hardly turn on my pc anymore. Even as I type here I am downloading bittorent. My phone is my pc now except doing ms office work. And yes while calling I also browse or do anything in context of my caller. This is is 2012. People do multitask on their phone like how they do it on the pc. Please update yourself.

ya...i also mostly depends on smartphone and tab already for surf internet.... my pc only use for BT and keep all my phone photo..

It's more a joke when ppl said up to date their pc is their phone. Samsung CEO must be rofl on the floor. Haha he might said I just fitted a quad core my customer intelligent fall for my trap and it will drop price.

From a 15 inch screen downgrade to 3.5inch to 5inch and a 15inch downgrade to 7 to 10inch and most of what a computer can do in a proper manner their phone can't.

Ppl browse Internet from 1920 x 1200 to 2560 x 1080 resolution now they downgrade the resolution and said update hahaha on mobile phone. You are going backwards and you are proud because the new backwards is the new update haha.

Yes I use my phone for most of the things I do on pc last time.
So what if screen is smaller. I still get hd. And if can project to my tv if I want.
I get stereo too dei. I do no the mumbo jumbo type of stereo u mention. But it's still stereo. Not that I care coz I'm not a sound nerd like some people.

I still get to see my movies anywhere and anytime. That's the point.

And listen. If I had to do this all on my pc. Then I won't be able to answer you until next week. Coz I'm out station and I didn't bring my pc with me. And most of the time I'm never with my pc anyway.
And for games. Well I don't care. Coz I don't play games on my phone. For gaming I have my ps3.
As far as I'm concern I'm not going backwards. But going mobile. And I have no time for my pc. But when I do that's great.

But if u not talking about me then disregard this message.

iphone or to be exact ios (apple) have only one product/manufacturer so their price drop is slower then the rest of the phone , just imagine if ios like android and have more then 1 manufacturer or more model. like sony/samsung/motorola/nokia/etc brand produce phone with ios as the main os, their resale value will be the same like android.

retail price for iphone is fix, while shop selling price is subjective.

other then that, blackberry phone one is good example imo if apple have multiple product. For an example curve-not so high resale value (middle/low end model), while certain model (bold series) is pricier.

btw same can be said for wp, imo their current resale value is worst then android, even price drop is faster then android.

I waiting for iPhone 5 to come and settle down. After using htc one x so called quad core it's not a really pleasant experience.

Samsung can't do what iPhone do they only can copy and make hardware. If tomorrow android decided to stop their current updates and start a new OS . Samsung sayonara. Their bada is dead and it's worse than Symbian

not you multitask, phone multitask.
you call on your s3 while browsing? or while you browse, someone called, screen changed?
your s3 has the ability to play youtube while browsing different site?

Ok sorry for the unintentional attack. Was in a bad mood.
I'm referring to both. For example I Skype somebody while browsing. Coz she asking me about flight details so I go to airasia to check the flights. Or while browsing someone call me. I answer call and while talking still continue browsing.
No . YouTube don't allow multitasking. youtube just pauses when u focus out. However for videos I can play it in a small window while browsing although I don't see the point. For audio then I see the point.
The best multitask I appreciate is when I play games with my kids online while tele video with them on Skype. It's the next best thing than being beside them.

dun forget samseng have wp as well

in one way they want to bolot everything, but hey its good business and more $$$

1. you do need a quad core
2. No phone can fully utilize a quad core.
3. samsung has always been a marketing gimmick, brandishing themselves as the best ,iphone killer, fastest phone when all they do is just squeeze in with more cores ,more this and that.

and FFS PLEASE LEARN ABOUT PROCESSOR ARCHITECTURE BEFORE COMMENTING, ITS SO ANNOYING WHEN SOMEONE CLAIM A QUAD CORE PHONE IS AS THE SIMILAR SPEED AS A QUAD CORE COMPUTER. THE SHEER STUPIDITY OF SOME GROUP OF PEOPLE IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!
