already pick up my ps3 from him...now testing most known game that cause heating on the console... L.A Noire... see how does it goes.. I read somewhere only small portion of lucky fat ps3 survive this game...hope mine will too ...wish me luck...will report back on the progress..

Cinkiah, you got PM.... My ps3 is Slim version, and not able to turn on... everytime when I turn on, the red lights blinks.... I gave it to one of the lowyat member to try to repair it, but he could not... He also dont know whats the problem.... Until I see this thread... maybe u could help me out? mine is old phat PS3. Already Ylod once before, then I send to some shop doing the Reballing once.

Is ok last if not mistaken for 6 month. now it YLOD back. I not a hardcore gamer, just play a few games and wathing Movie using PS3.

If sent to you my PS3 (already done Reballing Once) can it be repair to the Max Skill ur got, haha.

I got a PS3 that when play graphic intensive games like deus ex, it will hang in 10-15 mins. But if I play low graphics games like Plant vs Zombies, it can go on forever.

What u think is the problem (if got) and can it be saved? How much and got warranty? Btw, where ur workshop?

Hey bro, you wouldn't happen to be able to resource a replacement Cell processor would you? I fuxxed mine up trying to replace the IHS. Got the IHS off, but not sure if the processor itself was damaged in the process or if it was because of a busted joint below the processor.

Any suggestions?

Just like edrawrr, I too would like to watch the reballing process. I need to know that it is done right on my PS3.

What's frustrating is that it seems to me those who sent their PS3s to you is immediately put on your work list. But those who are negotiating with you to see the reballing process (and not about the price) is being put on the back burner.

It is a customer service problem. You're not updating those (like me) on the dates that are available for on-site observing. You're not updating your thread (this thread) about how many PS3s that are on the list to be repaired (with LYN usernames), the PS3 you're repairing currently, and the LYN PS3s that have been repaired and sent back. Handling customer service can be annoying but it is important to any business. Handling potential and actual customer expectations are crucial because they generate goodwill and future income.

I'm not writing this post to get you to fail. I want you to succeed because what you're doing is a great service to PS3/PC/Laptop owners.
