with video evidence only can determine its a goal or not. until goal line tech is in. debatable. from our naked eye it looks on the line tho to me ...

DDG kept a clean sheet after all. I trust DDG more than Lindegaard. DDG have better reflexes than Lindegaard if you ask me.

during the game when Newcastle constantly cross into the box for their strikers, DDG actually missed/didnt clear properly many times. he might have sharper reflexes but ball catching and clearing Lindegaard is much better.

Yup only thing that he is not be that good in clearing crosses. Other than that i think he is better than Lindegaard. Somehow i feel more confident when DDG is playing. He saved us quite a number of times actually. Probably Lindegaard could have conceeded that goal yst.

Lucky or not, last night's performance I think was the best this season in terms of sharpness and effort. Perhaps Newcastle was poor too, but either way, United was quick in terms of moving the ball from defence to attacking third of the field. By doing that, they bypass Cabaye and Tiote. I guess SAF is slowly converting Wazza to become an all-round midfileder?

Welbeck is clearly not focus on his task nowadays, but hopefully its just temporary and early season jitters.

Evra and Rafael looks more assured defensively last night which is very refreshing to see, especially Evra. Looked like his old self.

evans, evra n cleverly - thank u for the goals n it was indeed sweet revenge for us, after last time got beat by Newcastle 3-0 in January.
DDG - everytime i see crosses or high balls coming towards him, aiyo, make me anxious and worried... sweat.gif
worried also when evans tumbled knee first...good thing he's not injured.. sweat.gif
rafael, rio - played well
carrick, cleverly - had good game, neat pass, distribution of balls.
rooney - future Scholes in the making...excellent game..
kagawa had a decent game
welbeck had good touch , just unlucky not to score.
RVP had good game, luck not to get send off..almost scored as well

good first-half, and as usual a bit relaxed after going 2-0 up, thank goodness, no horror show afterwards, would have preferred to see chica come on instead of scholes or giggs instead, but oh well, SAF knows best..

so epl break again, lets hope everybody dont get injured and get well rested, looking forward for the games against Stoke and Chelsea.

De Gea should trust the defenders more like what G.Nev said during the commentary.

As for the Newcastle "goal", it was correct after analysis shown from different channels. Debatable but it'll still sway our way. Unless the whole ball has crossed the line, after the replays from different angles, the commentators commented that it was a GOOD call from the linesman.

As for Welbeck, his decision-making during a game needs to improve. Period.

No complaints on the defending last night. It was good defending from us. When Evra goes up, Rafael stays down and vice versa.

DDG judgement is seriously flawed. I think he missed all the long balls 100% last nite. Very worrying.

You see...you see!!! This is the media manipulating Suarez's image. The camera is too zoomed in...if you zoom out you can CLEARLY see a sniper shot him! This is injustice...INJUSTICE I TELL YOU!

Remember guys, when Suarez is on the pitch..he brings with him the "imagination of a child" and what not. Would a child dive? WOULD A CHILD DIVE?

You guys are just painting him as a diver...all the time, everytime.
