it is good to buy and hold for MAS.. as you see CI dropping.. but MAS is still in a very very strong support.. hahaha if you buy MAS-CG the winning will be 50% or lose also 50% lol..

MAS has formed triple bottom, break the lowest dy. to complete the formation, it should be on uptrend by then.

when US debt rating downgraded, every stock open with big gap downward and continue to rush down. This time CI looks like that but less sell down with no greater volume than before.

ppl use to say double bottom then rebound. Now triple bottom already. Accept the fact, there's more bottoms to come for MAS

Formed triple bottom, break the lowest dy.
?
The last two bottoms were exactly on the money at 1.02. MAS 'broke' that low today. It touched 1.00 briefly before trading at low volumes to close at 1.01. The day(s) is still 'young', and we do not know yet if this 1.00-1.02 will hold. If it doesn't hold, then this bottom will be a much lower bottom. Can still call a triple bottom if this bottom is much lower?

Another simple question. Why buy MAS now? Do you foresee MAS to return to profits soon?

Those who traded the double bottom formation in early Aug, has just experienced a failed double bottom of play by now, unless the traders were swift enough to exit at 1.10.

My elephant gun is ready but the million dollar question is: Is this the right time to fire?

Especially since I'm already 77% stocks/23% cash, which means my cash % is already lower than some fund managers like AA.

if it rebounds above or below near 1.02, and uptrend. look at the support at 1.00. will rise soon? will it form triple bottom?

The thing is you are basing it on 'IF'.
IF it holds or rebounds around this price, then of course a triple bottom play is an 'option'.
What if the current bottom forms at a much lower price?

then it's a double bottom. I was aware it break the bottom price. sentiment is not good enough for majority to buy to risk further downtrend despite a risky bet on the Fed meeting outcome i suppose.

for a TA player, we do not predict what is the chart going to be ...

we just look at the previous history.. and setup our trading plan.. follow ur plan...
