In a forum, different opinions and views are always a norm and sarcasm and banters are always a norm too.
What has happened is truly trivial. It's all handbags.
I have no problem in exchanges banters and sarcasms and if it gets totally out of hand, I would just ignore.
That was what I had planned to do yesterday.
I had seen that opening remark 'You really talk like MCA people. 100% identical.'
I assumed it was pure banter and I ignored everything else he wrote and made a quick reply saying 'Nah. There's no need for me to reply.'
Later that evening, I discovered the nastiness of that posting.
Nasty remarks and accusations were made against me.
It's uncalled for.
It's not a problem for anyone to throw me their best banter and their best sarcasm since this is an open forum.
But to make those serious accusations against me is pure nasty.
I wasn't going to leave that un-replied.
Yes it's all unfortunate that you and everyone else have to read all those.
Do I make money from insider trading? Do I encourage everyone to develop a heavy gambling mindset?
Those are serious accusations.
If such an accusation is made against you, you would be pissed and disgusted too.
Have I  pass any insider tip in this forum? Have I promoted any pure punting stocks in this forum?
Yeah, I am an 'anti-investing'. Unreal conclusion too.
Yes, I might have disagreed with how some invests but I have always explained in detail why.
If anyone disagree with me, they should disagree with what I saying on that stock/topic. It's not a problem but why label me as 'ant-investing'? Why make tasteless remarks such as ' The more people has "investment" in mind, the worst for you. And you hated that.'?
I pointed my views against Panamy.
Of course, this would be an unpopular view mainly because many here owns this stock.
But what was my views against Panamy?
Declining profits.
In Panamy books, a huge portion of the cash balances is deposited in a related company. The amount wasn't small either.
I explained how other consumer stocks have performed much better than Panamy because they have earnings growth.
Am I against investment just because I showed weakness in this stock, which he so happens to owns?
To make that accusation that I am against investing showed how shallow and immature he is.
Forums are open for all people to express their views and just because I don't agree his views on Panamy means I am anti investing?
Does he expect lowyat forum to be a cheerleeding forum, where one suggests a stock and the rest of the gang goes cheering for that stock?

I am a trader simply because I am a better trader than a investor. That's me, focusing only on what I know I do best.

I will try to stop all this but it's unfortunate since those accusations were made against me.
