Pavillion 2 in Bkt Jalil? It should have little impact on Mid Valley, but could affect the IOI Mall in Puchong.REIT V4, Real Estate Investment Trust

QUOTE(yok70 @ Jun 3 2013, 05:47 PM) The income from the 3 newly acquired hotels in Australia depends on guest arrivals. However, the local hotels has fixed rental rate, so steady income stream for many more years(10? 15 years? forgot) until if they re-valuate the contract. QUOTE(jutamind @ Jul 3 2013, 03:49 PM) is stareit still worthy of investment esp with the latest news that they are going to gap up on their debts.... @jutamind,any impact on starreit if there are some diseases/viruses that affect hotel occupancy rates? I believe yok70's response to me on Jun 3 answers your question regarding occupancy rates. |

QUOTE(cablesguy @ Jul 22 2013, 10:17 AM) On another note, why not much mention or interest in Hektar here, good yield, seems stable with established properties, am i missing something? QUOTE(Desvaro @ Jul 22 2013, 12:05 PM) I bought Hektar in the middle of last year at 1.46, and I agree with you. It's just that their malls are not as popular as the other mall REITs, that's why you don't see many people talk about them. Hektar's gearing is somewhat high. Most people don't even know where Hektar's malls are I have this REIT, but no plan to buy more... |

QUOTE(yok70 @ Jul 31 2013, 05:17 AM) Strange that CIMB seems not interested to downgrade REITs. So far, CIMB maintains all TP on its coverage REITS. And why? I don't understand. In their paper, they didn't even care to mention bond yield at all. What were they thinking? Or later downgrade all REITs at one shot is it. CIMB is bullish, not just on REITs, but on property too... |

QUOTE(felixmask @ Aug 15 2013, 04:59 PM) hi yok70, Hektar's malls in Klang Valley are also not the best. I guess its management purposely want to buy second-rate malls, at cheaper price.Im frm Sg Petani. Not i want to put cold water, i know what the condition of both mall sungai petani and kulim. You wont like it when you hear it, by the way, there is other mall better that Hektar bought from sg petani and kulim. It's noting wrong with the mall, aslong can get tenant, but the quality among other mall andpotentail upcoming mall it wont be the central of demand for hiking rental future. Soon later be like Sg Wang condition, top floor no one want to rent or open business, then atttractness will be lower. By the way KLCCss drop 10sen...what your TP, mahu makan ??? |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 15 2013, 10:37 PM) All listed company including reit has 2 month time to announce their result. In the US, the requirement is 45 days after closing accounts. But many big companies announce results within a month. We are slow So if Q result ended 30 June, has until 31 Aug to announce. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 16 2013, 05:52 PM) Why? If we sell after the announcement of new interest rate is made, it could be too late. The prices could have dropped significantly as everybody else also press the SELL button.Because even QE being tapered, it doesn't mean interest rate going up. Until interest rate is going up and in significant way, then yes, dump all reit. So, should I sell 2 or 3 days before the Fed meeting |
