Hi there any Sifu here can give me some of the tips to use lumia 820? I get attracted because the Here+ Map and Here+ city lens :-), But still need someone give me some guidance in Windows apps and Lumia 820 :-)

I'm having some prob with my whatsapp and facebook notifications. They don't show at all. At least facebook shows the number of messages / post i have in the live tile. Whatsapp doesn't

I have to open the app, and then only all the messages come in.
Already tried reinstalling the app, and disable-reenable to background tasks. Still the same

Anyone had this problem before?

do u set background task for whatsapp? I have no issue with notification....almost 95% I can notification...5% because connection weak...

WA notification can get on the spot with sound.

But I duno why adding new WA contacts takes so much delay to appear in the contact list. any tricks other than putting the complete mobile number like +601x-xxxxxxx/x ?

Yup, all enabled. Also restarted phone and uninstalled the app. Still the same. Apparently a few guys were having the same problem in the windows phone thread as well, but they said that the issue disappeared after a few days.

after july update, i no more notification issue....

try test with your frens phone (android) using wifi connection....then test it with telco connection....

if problem happen using telco connection, mean connection weak cause delay...

if u mute group chat, it will not have notification....

by the way, whatsapp notifcation quite stable compare to line or wechat....

i can change my phone back shell right ? i mean, since i can tak out battery, thats pretty mean that i can my phone back shell. right now im using black. can i change it to yellow or red ?

I had the latest cyan update for my lumia 820, my firmware version is 3051.50009.1424.0009, but refer to the official website the version should be 3058.50009.1424.0009. Don't know whats the problem.
