M50's impedance is too high for mobile devices. For mobile devices, under 35 ohms or it will not loud enough and only drain the batteries. Mine 32 ohms already need to push the volume to 70-80%.

the problem now is not the headset or earphones but the audio chip sux on the lumia 920. So the device unable to unleash its real potential.

I have experienced a lot worse - my asus laptop... made a branded headphone sound like pasar malam headset, bass almost non existent, too muddy... =.=;
Lumia 920's one still ok to me.

not necessary dude. Some ppl spend alot money on their headphones to find out the quality is okay but the headphone still have many potential to be unlocked but due to the audio chip its limited

Its like having a ferrari that can easily reach 320kph but your car is limited to 100kph only. Get that.

The person that called me for address told me the expiry is 31st March 2013. And you must show your receipt or warranty card together with that voucher to purchase anything from Nokia Store. Not sure if they allow us to combine 2 voucher or not  hmm.gif

Great to hear that you finally got the voucher. And hope that you will receive your phone by tomorrow morning. smile.gif

I have a Denon D5000 and it sound the same to any regular sound card.
It does not suck and if you say it sucks, so is to any headphones now available on the market.

Before I even bought this phone i've done my research and this phone gives good sound quality as of any other phones.

Read the audiophiles commenting about sound on the Lumia 920 http://www.head-fi.org/t/635554/nokia-lumi...0-sound-quality

Unleashing the full potential? Use an amp.

If you need an amp to unleash means the output from the source sux.
For me even my computer setup i am using a XONAR D2X vs internal sound card and a XFI card before they all sound different.

I do not know how to explain maybe your professionalism is too high

But just for your experience sake go try plug one of this headphone on samsung galaxy S3 or Note 2 then plug back to your Lumia 920 and you will understand.

Since you are professional believe your ears not copy someone else review similar to my photography all the reviewers cant do what i do so why i wanna compare or listen to what they say?

Similar ppl tell me they need P&S or DSLR to set a different status vs my mobile photography?

I not very good in pin point to explain to you its like photography i see very unique angle that not many ppl can see similar to sound i been using lots of nokia phones all the audio quality is bad but at the beginning i just comfort myself aiya just listen then slowly your ears will get used to it but when you suddenly listen to something better you can immediately identify the difference

You just said 'unleashing full potential' so yes amping would be a good way to do it.
How could any prebuilt sound card do that? We are talking prebuilt sound card for thing that is already prebuilt it's good enough. The way to always be good is to see other people opinion and agreeing so yeah if you read that thread they pinpoint pretty much everything why it's good enough and of course the bad one as well. This subject regarding sound is subjective and varies on our taste and the way we listen. People like other sound signature and not the same as what you like.

Why you suke hantam people one?
Chill la bro. People with different opinion is what makes the world interesting.
Why you always hantam people which has a different opinion that you.
This subject is subjective and that is your opinion. What is mine is mine and yours is yours.
We can open a thread regarding photography, we can discuss there.

Guys let's just take it easy... sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Maybe because the limitation is in the OS, not because of the hardware?

In my past experience Nokia phones always have superior audio output, especially the Xpress Music and N series.

X7 the speaker is superior not the output via 3.5mm

I have all the express music series Nokia X7 i have Nokia 5800 i have as well except for X6.

I have the monster headset WH930 and why do i wanna say other brand better since its designed for Lumia?

Lets hope its the OS but from my ears its disappointing.
