I tested the original earphone from Lumia 920 on the phone itself and also on my N8. I can clearly say that the sound from N8 is way better than 920. Also tested my original N8 earphone on 920, and the result is still N8 got better clarity and bass compared with 920. I just hope that this can be improve from the firmware side.... The Dolby is not like those reviewer said till so bad ass awesome IMHO...

On sound quality, bass alone doesnt determine the sound quality - Im one of those who dislike excessive bass. I dunno how some people enjoy music, like you know, the background is boom boom boom but u can barely hear the song's lyrics or other instruments used in the song.

Hi guys, I'm thinking to get a lumia 920, just wanna ask is it worth spending rm1999 on it? (because for me thats quite a lot of money, just dont want to regret it biggrin.gif ). And is there any fingerprint left after touching the screen(without sp) and the phone's back?

Since it is a big money for you, I think it is worth for you to read through all the comment in this thread, although it's quite a lot... sweat.gif

I'm not a Lumia 920 user, but so far from the feedback I saw, people are quite satisfied with this phone, just in some aspects it is not up to expectation.

Common issues faced by users: Inconsistent battery life; Random Reboot.

From my point of view it's more like, whether you are willing to try windows phone, which may not be as feature-packed as Android but good enough for us so far. Most people use Android or iOS. Because, if you are indeed interested in Windows Phone, Lumia 920 (or 820 or 620 if budget is a problem) is the only one i can recommend - It's the best windows phone currently, even when compared to HTC 8X. Yes, HTC's model is lighter and slimmer but you'd want to consider the advantages of a Nokia model especially in exclusive apps and free guided GPS.

Some bugs you read will be fixed in an upcoming update by February.

depend how u value RM 2k for a phone.. 920 RM 2k, ip5 32GB 2.5k, note 2 ±RM 1.9k... for spec(camera, memory, cpu, 2g,3g, lte, nfc) wise it is on par with the price.. but resale value not so strong compare to apple product (able to sell my used ipod touch 4gen within 24 hours of advertising on 3rd of Jan 13) .. even phone box able to sell at RM30.. but for my 920 is not for resale.. so no worries on that.. so far im satisfied with 920..like 1 forumer said when being asked about how good is a smartphone...he answered if the people who ask can give 1 perfect phone, he also wan to buy that phone..

Regarding the battery life comment, after talking with a few of my friends who have been using iPhones and Samsung galaxies, the fact that a phone drinks up your battery power like no tomorrow seems to be common... so I guess you can't call that a con anymore, just something you'll have to live with if you use high end phones.

If you like tons of apps and free games Lumia 920 is not for you. Better to go iOS or Android devices for that.
What do you usually do on your phone will determine whether you'll find it worth or not.
So let us know what you like to do on your phones besides sms, call, whatapp..

Well you know I'm the type who buy phone every 2-3 years, so just want to make sure it is worth it. How about the battery life? Can it stand up to a day (i mean by the time you wake up until you sleep at night) by moderate use?

I've never hated Google before but this is just insane.
Will wait another year and see what Google is going to do next.
Soon I might as well change my email and everything else an move to Microsoft.
Google is being a D.. for some reason. They are somehow trying to kill Windows Phone. vmad.gif
I think they are just scared for competition. doh.gif

Yes it will last you for a day by moderate use. I've been testing the battery for a while everything seems ay o k now.
Just dont get those battery drainage apps and you are all good.
