indirectly related. they allied together to fight a common cause because they all hated han and japanese.

Get your fact right.. Korean never really hate Han in their History.. Manchus the so called your theory of "related" are the one they really hate... Go and read about the history of Korea 1st before adding so many sallt on China history to this unrelated Korean & Japan topic doh.gif

Remember.. Till Today Korea still unofficially tryinng to claim part of their land in Manchuria where almost 1million Korean residing there and was part of Goryeo (the old Korea) kingdom smile.gif

According to genetic analysis using Y-chromosome, Manchus are closest to korean than any other ethnics in comparisons [5 ]. In this study, both Korean and Korean Chinese (ethnic korean living in China) are genetically closest to Manchus. Interestingly Manchus are genetically closer to korean than Mongols. it is consistent with the Qing's definition of Manchu tribes in which Korean tribes are majority.

I always backed with hard evidence to support claims.

Altaic wiki is the last place you want to get accurate information. Altaic wiki is created by Altaic nationalist who most of them are Korean nationalists who have been distorting history and full of lies. Don't let yourself brainwash by Altaic wiki. Korean nationalists like to think that they are related with Manchu because they like to pick up on prestige of Manchu and use it to their advantage

Yeah...I'm aware they are linguistically related although the term Altaic can also be controversial. Altaic is a very fluid term. To be more accurate, Manchu is categorized under Tungusic languages while Mongolian under Mongolic . Manchu,Mongolian and Korean are culturally and politically separate from each other and there's no cultural and politic unity among those three ethnic groups.

Korean history full nonsense and none of their claim here is accurate. They brainwash their people and these people kena brainwash went to write article in Altaic wiki. I went to forum like Chinese History Forum, All Empire and Historum and trust me many people feel Korean historians are motivated by nationalism not academic. Even western scholar also disagree with Korean historians.

Regarding the false claim and history distortion by the Korean in the youtube video posted by HangPC2 which got no credibility at all, in case anyone of you interested in history, BurdenOfAges from Asia Finest already refute and expose Korean nonsense and flaws behind their logic.

Can you distinguish Japan and Korea

SAULABI (2002)

AKA Time Travel to the Root of Samurai

A spectacular samurai saga that opens upon the Baekje Dynasty in Korea, where the kingdom is in its final throes as warriors commit ritual suicide and the ministers consume poison, all in the knowledge that their rule is coming to an end. 450 years later, a small group of warriors is determined to restore the kingdom to its former glory, and journeys to Japan to visit a Baekje settlement there. Along the way they encounter a band of Japanese fighters that leaves all but two of the travellers dead; one of the survivors is Ko Woo-do, who sets off with his companion to visit Kanemura, a sword maker with the power to craft the Heaven's Sword, which will unite Woo-do's people. There, Woo-do falls in love with the Japanese courtesan to whom the local warlord is engaged, setting off a feud that will continue throughout the next fifteen years, until Woo-do returns to try and reclaim his honor and save his people. With stunning choreography by frequent Akira Kurasawa collaborator Eizi Takakura, a beautiful score and faultless acting, this is a tour de force that wields amazing impact.
