QUOTE(hfi @ Sep 24 2012, 02:59 PM) Jonjo was a one footed lunge tho. It looks 2 footed because his legs eventually had to come together at some point. Both players made a crazy lunge for the ball, there was no malice in it. In regards to Suso, he came as an attacking midfielder but the Academy started playing him as CM and at times even as DM to improve his overall game. The thing is' he's a well-rounded midfielder that he can play in most midfield positions. Has good technique, good vision and venomous left foot. Absolutely true on this point. But sadly nowadays in modern football, there's no such thing as full-blooded, crunching tackles in a 50-50 ball situation. The ref actually had a good view of it. I'm not sure how he missed Evans went in studs up as well. BR was right. If Jonjo gets a red for that, so should Evans. On another note, let's hope that Agger's injury isn't as bad as feared. The same goes to Kelly and Borini too. This post has been edited by 8sg9ft: Sep 24 2012, 03:07 PM

The mocking within this thread has to stop. It's bordering on the childish and disgraceful already. Our team was hard done by the ref's decisions yesterday but we gotta move on, starting with WBA on Wednesday. If we keep playing like we did yesterday and with some luck, the wins will come. Maybe as what Paul Tomkins wrote in this link below, our season truly starts now. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-new...ason-starts-now

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Sep 24 2012, 09:20 PM) Yup. Unfortunate injuries aside. The team still looks good. Suso --- suarez --- sterling Allen---Sahin---Gerrard Johnson -- Coates-Skrtel--wisdom Reina I think Wisdom wouldn't be pushed into regular first team action so soon. Enrique is more likely to come back at LB while Johnson goes back to RB. As for Agger's replacement, still remains to be seen. I'm more inclined to see Coates take over instead of Carragher. No disrespect to Carra, but his best days are quite far behind him now. This post has been edited by 8sg9ft: Sep 24 2012, 09:40 PM

QUOTE(digitalove_70s @ Sep 24 2012, 09:47 PM) we have been linked to Ricardo Quaresma again (for the millionth time) Free transfer but 80K p/w wages. Any takers? That's a massive amount towards the wage bill. I'm pretty sure FSG won't let that happen. Not keen myself anyway, we have plenty in midfield imo. Other positions need more urgent backup

Thank the heavens. Agger has no ligament damage. Apparently a significant bone bruise. Hopefully he doesn't need surgery and out less than 2 months or stg like that. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-new...nd-fabio-updateThis post has been edited by 8sg9ft: Sep 24 2012, 11:19 PM

QUOTE(lerijiso @ Sep 25 2012, 07:29 PM) Hahaha that was hilarious. Would have been better if it was Mark Halsey in between Jonjo and Evans
