i never tried apex, but i can tell you nova prime is amazing 

  worth it.

i notice the screen is much smoother when flipping between pages. touchwiz has too many redraws    which i didn't quite realize until i switched to nova prime 

some of the benefits of nova prime launcher

pros:
1. performance
2. modability too many to go into 
3. better app folder management
4. more gesture controls
5. you can add a touch screen button to replace the physical one. I'm loving it  so no need to use super nexus rom, i can keep using my wanamlite, and just use nova launcher to customize the touchpad button.
6. can also use the jelly bean theme. same reason as point item number 5.
7. rather than use gmail widgets, nova prime has a plugin called tesla unread which allows me to do the same thing but more efficiently but using the default gmail icon widget. So the gmail widget now has the number of unread emails appended to the bottom right of the icon.
8. can easily import my widget layout from touchwiz to nova prime.
9. eacy to backup widget layout and settings for nova prime.
10. has a feature to check for updates for nova prime and perform the update
cons:
1. the touchwiz clock weather widget is gone  however other widgets from touchwiz remain selectable from the widget selection screen oddly.
2. there doesn't seem to be an option in nova prime to change the lock screen wallpaper :/ to do that i think still need to do via samsung s3 settings if i am not mistaken.
When i tried to freeze touchwiz, it worked for a while, but later the app menu buttons were gone. so i don't think it's recommended to freeze touchwiz from what i've seen 

Flip down hard for texting if the flip cover cannot open until touch the back cover. If flip up can easily texting but quite rare to find a good one. So in the end..Gooo naked...FTW..!!!

S3 wins summary conclusion

But don't get me wrong. Although i do think overall the S3 was the winner in this round, Apple still managed to set the new standards for somethings.

i'm not denying thunderbolt is the future, but i think wigig would have been much more useful because there are wigig routers out there. People tend to prefer wireless streaming/transfer of data compared to using a cable.

In my opinion that is a piece of dumb ad by Samsung

my play store download stuck at 97%...how to solve this?

i just bought sgs3 last week. and im new to android. is anything i can do to lower the ram usage. i constantly kill tasks and clear ram, but no matter how, it will rise again some times.

i'm quite worried about the batt in my s3

when it's idling, at certain time, it eats up the batt quite fast

no background apps running, no 3g, no gps, just wifi

anything wrong that i did?
