QUOTE(ytlay @ Apr 27 2013, 06:23 PM) You can't use the normal HDD caddy bay as quoted by u since it can't properly fit in Y400/Y500 with special design and size. Garage sales selling Lenovo removable HDD around 400 is not so worth it. Better get mSATA SSD. Here the pics for Y400/Y500 optional swappable ultrabay: I saw hikari posting about swappable HDD for RM450. Anyone know how much is the capacity?

QUOTE(ytlay @ Apr 27 2013, 07:03 PM) Touch screen is not so user friendly on laptop and it make the laptop wobbly/hinge loose and full of finger print. Its not my cup of tea. And i always find touch screen laptops have a very very fragile screen. Got it feeling it might break anytime

QUOTE(hong823 @ May 1 2013, 07:05 PM) Cause i afraid that later 128gb not enough for me haha. Yeah, i like the ssd boot time and app launch time. Besides ssd improving boot time, For example, if i install Tomb Raider on my ssd, will it make a huge difference?

QUOTE(efariz @ May 8 2013, 03:39 PM) haha..sure.. right now i just install Intel 310 80GB mSata, but didn't set to boot from mSata yet..need to migrate all OS & program files to mSata first next i'm planning to change the wifi card to dual-band, prefer Intel Advance N-6235 coz comes with Bluetooth 4.0.. any other option to fully maximize Y400.?? playing COD Black Ops 1 & Tom Clancy - Advance Warfighter 2 for few days, notice the left side of keyboard temp to get hotter, but still in acceptable temperature..thanks to CM U2 (fans exactly below air intake) both games play fluently smooth & no stuck or whatsoever..very satisfied with the graphic performance..i set the display to 1366x760 (if not mistaken) yes, the left side of the keyboard gets quite hot while playing advanced games. So far, i played Tomb Raider and Skyrim, the keyboard gets pretty hot. Kinda annoying for me even after i have CM U2 cooler pad. But the graphics is superb

QUOTE(-kytz- @ May 11 2013, 02:37 AM) Y500 is a little warm huh? Keyboard and touch pad area.... *tried today at LYP* Also, no Intel graphics chipset right? Which means the laptop is always running on the GT750M A little disappointed to be honest since Nvidia Optimus (switch between discrete and integrated) can greatly improve battery life and reduce temperatures Y400 is quite warm too when you're gaming. especially the left side of the keyboard. Assuming there is where the graphic card and fan is located i guess.
