interesting...wonder what makes it cheaper than xpeira V? higher cpu,gpu & battery, just that w/o IP57...

lower profit margin?? unlike fruits or samthing.... just my personal opinion

xperia V still has the sting in term of camera megapixel and weight of the device

yup, but SP got higher battery capacity, and its proc is clock higher(1.7vs1.5) and there new gpu(adreno 320vs 225)..and i guess loudspeaker will be more loud n good on SP since its not water resistant..

for V, ap set u can get for around rm950..but original will take u back to around rm1300..

agree, the proc, gpu and batt add advantage to SP. Not sure if due to higher clock that need large battery capacity?

maybe, but we can always underclock when have root.. ..already rooted my V and clock to 1.0..

haha, IMO rooted not void warranty, just unlocked bootloader will void warranty..coz, after rooted, we can easily update firmware or flash ofw, then root is gone, and they cant detect if we ever done root.. ..just root and u can do almost anything..

I wanted to ask, normally the SD card are per-formated with NTFS or FAT 32 ?

I can't seems able to connect my XV to my new ride...not working at all.

According to the manual, the HU only could recognize FAT32 system format

thanks, now only I noticed rooting wouldn't void the warranty.

i think is fat32, coz mine is fat32..and i nver format this sd card..but fat32 will restrict no big than 4gb file.. ..nver try ntfs,,wonder if V kernel support ntfs system..well, u can try format and use in phone..

haha,,okay, rooting just take a few minutes,, but u might want to take a look on full guide on how to root, to avoid problem..but i take no responsible if warranty is void if u root..

normally how fast does your sms load? e.g. from click the sms icon till the list of sms loaded. mine is a bit slow...not too significant but expecting better

About 1 sec. The phonebook loads slower for me (about 1-2 secs)
