Where will you buy it? Sony center?
*
Buy from Satu Gadget Dot Com. The shop is very near my place.

The White TX is finally in my hand. rclxm9.gif
Need some time to get used to the larger 4.6" size.

Just a little reminder, don't forget to ask the shopkeeper to trim your SIM card if it is still in original size.
Also, if you are buying from non-Sony shop, the white TX may have a higher price.

For those who wish to know, my unit's Touch Firmware is 'c'.

I think touch firmware 'b' are from a very old batch. All new units are 'c'. If anyone want to look for 'b', you may have to search for it in the area where TX was available earlier. Again, the chances are slim. Just my opinion.

can use in Malaysia?
*
You need a US PSN account. A Malaysian PSN account cannot work.
I got the 'Samurai Beatdown' just now.

just a couple of questions to relief my curiosity, does the xperia tx has the options to set vibration strength, like weak, normal and strong? Thanks! icon_rolleyes.gif
*
For phone call vibration, there is only ON/OFF.
For english keyboard, there is an option to set intensity if you turn on 'vibrate on key press'.

My TX's battery charge from 3% to 100% in about 1 hour 30 min. Is this normal?

actually i dunno how to check? i'm just started, a noob android user here

but i think it's c, cos i can see the grid they said when looking at the screen at an angle smile.gif
*
No lah. The grid is the touch digitizer. The circuit to detect finger touch.
No need to border about the b or c touch firmware. Just use the phone and enjoy it. biggrin.gif

buy TX now, or wait for Z? or is it too long to wait?
*
Z will be definitely higher price than TX. I predict Z will be RM1899 ~ RM2099.
If you have budget and want Quad Core, wait for Z. If not, get TX.
Sony Mobile MY facebook already showing pictures of Z. Coming soon... brows.gif

For those who has experienced bad battery performance on your TX, please perform a calibration of the battery.
My unit's battery wasn't calibrated correctly when I bought it. So I was getting a really bad/weird battery performance for the past 2 weeks. I can see the battery number dropping in front of my eyes even when not doing anything extensive. At 1 time, battery already at 1% and I can still play 1 hour 30 mins of youtube videos. shakehead.gif

To calibrate, just follow these steps:
1. Charge your phone to full 100%.
2. Drain all the power on the phone until it dries up and turn off by itself. See the tips below.
3. While the phone is OFF, charge it until it is full 100%. DO NOT turn on the phone now. How to know if it is full? When the notification light is green, just press the power button (don't hold, or you will turn on the phone), it will show a battery image. When the image does not have a 'lightning bolt' on it, then it is full.
4. After this, turn the phone on and use.

Do not do calibration so frequently, or you will slowly spoil your battery.

Tips for draining your phone's battery
1. You can turn on everything like bluetooth, NFC, GPS, full brightness, WIFI.
2. You can play a lengthy video and repeat it.
3. You can download some 'Battery Drain' apps from Play Store. But I found that playing video is already enough.

Hi! I've a question. Given that 2 phones with same resolution, but different sizes, will both require different processing power? Or same?
*
In terms of processing power, it should be the same, because same number of pixels.

I think it is about time we start a new thread. Just wanted to ask everyone within this thread.

Do you think we should have a separate thread for T & TX?
Or we should continue to create a V2 combined thread for both T & TX?

If you prefer to have separate thread, then I will create a V2 thread for TX. A T owner will create a V2 thread for T.

If you still prefer to have a combined thread, then I will create a V2 thread for T & TX. But forumer must state clearly their device when posting in the new thread to avoid confusion.

Your opinions are welcomed. smile.gif
