I think Swype alone is quite good already. Has Pinyin and writing for chinese input as well.

I am using CM10. Much faster than Stock ROM.
Really beh tahan the stock ROM...really slow...
After rooted and flash with custom rom, 2nd life to my S2G!

im on RR, i cant seem to turn my phone to a wifi hotspot. im using LPX modem, u guys think i shud change to another modem? if yes, which modem? thanks

Whatsapp countless my fiancee in aussie, so this is one of communication. furthermore, im using this phone as primary.. secondary phone all divert call to this phone.. during working hours, bluetooth is attached because of work nature...

Thanx for clarify.. so installing another apps to auto on off wifi really help me a lot.. sometimes forgot to close it.

i play in cpu, bln n misc tab in default profile.. u can choose it in recovery mode... then start tweak
uv and uc.. change governer and test the smoothness that fit your preferences, other as default.. as stated in my previous post..

go try bro most important do check what cause ur phone wake so much that consume a lot of battery..

sorry for the lack of explanation, actually the phone can become a wifi hotspot, and other devices(phones, laptops) can see it when scanning but it cant connect to it after inserting the password. i've tried changing the password to WPA but still other devices can only see and remember my wifi, but cant connect to it.

Haha same, I also always lupa turn off wifi. Mostly I use wifi at home, so I use tasker to off wifi when I'm further from home. And 15 hours on 3g with alot of wifi is pretty damn gila, your other settings must save you a whole lot of battery

Ah was just curious about what you started from. I tweak my phone very often also, hardly ever happy with it

But haven't uv in a while, maybe need to give that a go again. While I do look for battery life, performance is my priority (sometimes I leave it in performance profile of extweaks). Hmm uv-ing bln sounds like a good thing to try, maybe I need to give that a go

does anyone has the same problem with me?

i'm using samsung s2 non-g version, ICS version. some of my pictures have this purple spot on it, which i find it very annoying. my phone is still on warranty till end of this year. anyway i can fix this? or do i have to send to samsung service centre? need help from anyone here.

Hmm doesn't sound like a modem problem to be honest. You could give it a go, not sure if it'll help. Does sound familiar, this problem, I'll check back in here if anything pops to mind.

In the meantime, maybe you could try an alternative wifi hotspot app and see if that helps? (I use wifi tether app, as it allows access control and what nots)

Sometimes people will never satisfied no worries, continuing tweaking..

i did try previous uv more than -50.. but it just freeze while playing football game so i just stick with -50
for me, performance vs default, simply can't detect any different while in real usage.. so that's y im more prefer to set it into default..

uv bln, i set to 2700~2800.. so it's bit dim.. but ok ler, when someone messaging me, it's blinking.. pretty awesome .. cause our phone don't have notification light..

I'm not sure if we've a lot of different in term of software usage..

If I don't want to use other launchers besides the stock launcher, can I mod the drawer to show 5x5 or 5x6 etc...? Using wanam rom.
