I read some where that Samsung is selling back it's S2 non G version.Any truth to this because i am getting S2G in a few days time.If the non G is back i will probably wait.

To all G users, have you regretted getting this version due to the lack of development and custom ROMs available? I just hope i don't have regrets if i get the G version.

G version have better aosp roms.

If you like cyanogenmod, get the g version, seriously. It's WAY better than non g. But if you like samsung rom and all those themed rom available for non g, then go for it.

Antoo, cm runs so fine on my non g.
Apart from some known bugs, its really awesome.

Really can't imagine how big is the difference on g version.

Yeah it runs fine on our device cos we have a fast cpu to compensate for the lack of butter. G version got most thing working including butter. There will also be more development in the future for G version. For all we know they could even get keylimepie or whatever its called while non-G getting fully working JB is still unsure.

I tried to feel the nexus with Custom Rom JB, the lagging animation visible at some stage.

B4 buying G or Non G better to look at your preference first for developing rom.. unless know how to cook rom then it's advantage for u..

Make sure your governor is not set at lulzactiveq. Change to pegasusq or something else.

Happened to me too, I even reset my extweaks setting to default. Once, the battery just went flat, and I was late for work lol. Temporarily i flashed back to the previous version.

Im using Ondemand all the time...
Btw i didnt even use extweak....
But it still happens...
Just flash to 4.1.1 to try it...

Happens to me too back when I was using RR.
Whatever benefit siyah brings, its bugs n disadvantage far out weight it.

I use default cm kernel, never sod before.
Good battery life too.

I have both nong and g version. non g version definitely runs better with better optimized custom roms compare to g version. And don't worry about the official update, if there is update for S2, definitely both g and nong version will update together. I feel So regret that i bought the g version. Besides the cm10 for g version not available for nong version, which i personally think is not a very great rom compare to custom roms for nong like RR rom, RootBox,MIUI etc:)

Even G version has quite a number of custom development now, should not be a problem.
CheckROM no longer available for S2, I can no longer find a stable ICS daily driver to use now.

use CM9 la, its stable. never hang or sod before, no FC also.

First CM10 nightly for non-G is almost ready for those that want it.
