main point taken from the page is, they do not set a date now, they probably already shipped out the first batch of stock to the retailers, normally retailers are required to wait until the designated date to start selling it despite they may get it as far as 1-2 weeks earlier, now they are telling the retailers "you can sell it as soon as you got your stock"

This may just be US though, so the date listed on ebay or play-asia is irrelevant now, or they simply not among the retailers who receives the first batch of stock.

yes, they set it before, and now simply decide that shops no longer need to follow it. but didn't bother to remove it?

QUOTE

LittleBigPlanet Vita's North American street date of September 25 has been lifted. Sony says retailers can begin selling the game once they receive copies.

"Production on LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita was completed earlier than expected and due to the excitement from our retail partners, we have moved from a street date to a launch date, which means that retailers can sell the game once they receive product," a representative told Game Informer.

"However, please rest assured that LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita will be available at all retailers on September 25."

It's unclear how many retailers are selling the game now. Best advice would be to call ahead and ask if there are any copies available. It's also unclear if the game will be sold early through PlayStation Network.

I plan to get the downloadable version for this, this is one game that I like the idea that I can easily start it and get online to play a mini level, instead of getting a game card, I'm keeping this game in my memory card biggrin.gif
