the new VR really up tp 5-stop

so I was playing around with my new old manual lens on a the d600... I found something interesting. The focus indicator, usually a lot on the lower left corner of the viewfinder now actually indicates how close u are  to focus. to the left and right of the dot... indicates further or closer u need to go to get to focus lol. and that the dual SD even both class 10 can slow down to a crawl if you load the smallest thumbnails

we were also using Extreme Pro SDHC UHS something something I think 40mb/s. if single card its relatively fast. but when there were two cards in the body it jst slows to a crawl. Tried single card in diff slots, different combo, seems tat it only happens when both cards were inserted. Oh and one card was filled the other was half.

what lens are u using for this particular shot CZ?

I thought all models will do that? So far all the Nikon models I have used d80 onwards can

yea. its about perseverance and learning the new layout. Some ppl jst give up after 2 mins with another system and complain its useless. I was pretty frustrated when I was handed the 5dmk2 .. totally lost but I would not be beat by a camera, so got to learn it.
Seems to be, we were using same spec'ed cards. The slowdown only when reviewing the mini thumbnails. Does not seem to affect performance, well non which I noticed anyways. I guess its fine as long as we dont hit the '-' button too much xD

me me! i want to compare with 70300
tu lah, damn nikon collar cost $180.

if u got the dough, can consider getting a blackrapid strap...

hanging my d800 + 24-70 f2.8 in front on my neck is impossible (~ 2kg)... blackrapid allows u to hang it on the side like a shoulder bag

or can consider a small shoulder bag like the thinktank hubba hubba hiney

Ahh thr dust is at the sensor and not view finder..

Maybe you can remove the dust one by one in post processing

When sensors have dust it is unable ti capture the light therefore Dust spots will appear in your pictures when a small aperture is used! Very annoying >.<

Time depends on technicians and how many bodies ahead of you haha best to ask on thr spot!

you use USB3.0 reader? i saw lowyat selling it but the price is more than double compare to 2.0
