Hey guys, just want to know.
Is it better to get a G-shock watch here in Malaysia or is it better to get it overseas? Compare in terms of price and choices of design. Been eye-ing on G-shock for a while now and I need more information on it. Please do share info with me. Thank you! |

It is cheap here...i bought the cheapest G-Shock RM200Plus and i use when going for sport session.
I don't think u can get cheap in oversea. |

I see. Cos I walked into Sunway Pyramid's G-factory outlet.
The prices seem to range from RM300 to about RM400 ++ I think. Haven't check out other watch shop. |

The one in garage sales is limited edition. as for the normal ones is the analog type. I prefer the squarish shaped and is digital time. |

I found an online shop that sells gshock. The stuffs look legit from the photos. They claim as 100% new and authentic, but no warranty. Is it possible? can anyone help me? Hi guys I wanna ask if this is common for gshock watches? Well I found out that the plastic is peeling bit by bit. As u can see in the picture. Well I only got the watch for 2 months. Is this normal or should I go back to the shop?

if you guys wan buy g-shock u guys better survey not every company is selling at same price. Some lower some higher, there is no 'recommended price from dealer'
There are a lot of ppl bringing in g-shock and acting as dealer. However, the biggest one 1 Marco, you can check your warranty charge which company it belongs to. That company only recognize their own product line. So if possible get your watch from Marco dealer |

Bought a couple watch at taiwan on december 2012.. NTD8500 (roughly RM850-RM900)
when i came back to malaysia i saw people selling the exactly same watch at RM1299  so i think it's better to purchase from overseas.. at least more model and usually it's cheaper!! btw this is the model that i bought : LOV-12A  |

I think for limited editions and couple editions, overseas would be cheaper.
I got my DW6900 for RM329 from G-Factory. Price seems okay for me. |

Casio should really start adding lume (beyond very limited models) to their anadigital gshocks. They're impossible to read at night.

I just got a G7700 for my birthday. Love the watch. My first g-shock and after a long time not wearing digital.
Anyone knows how to switch on the little LEDs individually at the bottom of the watch face? I can only make them flashing alternately like when the alarm goes off. I want to make my daughter jealous. She has that Dora watch with LEDs and projector. Pikture (this one is not mine) :  |

i don't know whether this is the correct place or not..but i'm trying my luck here...
i have an old school DW-5600C that is probably around 20 years old..it still going strong but now it has problem with the adjust pusher. It is no longer responsive. I have to really pushed it in order to set the time and so on...sometimes it can take hours so..anyone knows where can i fix this thing, any place in KL that i can send for repair? |

After so long abandoned in the drawer finally it got new lease of wrist time.. to get new band from casio is not an option as it was more than half of the watch price.

Need some help here. My gshock is still new and kept in the box but why the glossy band has turned into something like this ? No banging on the wall, drop, scratches and only in the box. occasionally used cotton ball with water to wipe away the fingerprints.

The 6900 does look bigger and more "gshock"-ey in my mind. 5600 seems just bit too small.
I checked out the 5500 as well, didn't fancy is as much. 5000 is probably my go to for now. |

Hi guys, any gwn-1000b gulfmaster user here?
Currently my watch second hand not moving, stuck at around 20 second, but other functions no problem, any idea what had happened and how to solve it? Btw, the watches bought from Hong Kong, is it okay I sent it back to service center in Malaysia? Thanks. |

I'm currently using a G-8900SH, planning to change the straps into NATO straps.
Wanna ask is there any particular size of the NATO strap converter for my watch and where can I find them? coz I've read that some ppl bought the wrong converter for their g shock  |

afaik there aren't any small metal gshock in production now.
all are resin case painted to look like metal... but at least with proper bracelet. maybe u can look for older digital mtg or mrg... or maybe a gw5000 with combi bracelet. |
