one of the most fun jobs to play. But my friend will be playing so i play my usual guardian.

a lvl13 Mesmer here. Its quite enjoyable to play a Mesmer

im a lvl 14 mesmer
duno what im doing half of the time and is just spamming keys lool

Playing as a staff / scepter + pistol mesmer, seems to fit my play style, mostly generating clones for the special skills of the class.

However, I'm wondering is "allies" party members or they can be anyone near to us? Been wondering it for sometime now

Anyone near you even if he/she is not in ur party as long as your aoe buff for example NULL Field and the Chaos Storm is cast where they are standing and they are in the range of the aoe = BUFF UP

Ahh cool, so changing to staff mes when doing events helps a lot

Dont forget ur elite skills and the 6 7 8 buff spell also do help them

Yeah, im running it with signet of inspiration for the tume being, still havent fully explored the class.

Btw anyone running a condition mesmer? Would like to know how well they run since im seeing a majority of skills trigger conditions, would very much like to go on that path

Sorry i am a Power Mesmer,and you might wanna see any kind soul here who play can give you some info regarding condition mesmer

my level 25 but the quest recommended level 30.
very hard to run the quest.

Had a Lvl20 Ranger and decided to try this Meme..

Had so much fun with it. Only lvl 17 now, I like MH Staff + Offhand Sword/Pistol.

P/S: Part of the reason of changing is when I went to sPVP, I was a complete idiot fighting with Meme.. those crazy illusions always break my heart.

Level 9 mesmer reporting in lolol.

Idk whether to go staff -> sword + pistol or GS -> sword pistol combo lol.

Staff seems more burst and more intelligent play, but GS seems to be more fun haha

lvl 39 mesmer reporting. currently on a power build. kinda good so far. but i might need to up my toughness soon. was abit paper when i did my run is ascalon catacombs

Added on September 4, 2012, 1:31 pmdepends really. the greatsword has some good skills while the staff is good when u have party members with you. i personally use the staff/greatsword coz i think that it is good. sword pistol is also nice but i havent got a good sword pistol in awhile :/

sword pistol for PvP actually. Pistol mesmers are really strong because of the illusionist spawn. It focus on one target and shots rapidly.

GS is a general great weapon for all class, cool looking, strong and f***ing cool looking. floating GS casting range skills? bury GS come out illusion attack the at range? YES PLEASE!

No comments on staff, not a mesmer just a tester

Im using GS/Staff combo atm. Quite nice for PvE
