for all WvW, sPvP & PvE, long bow is better than rifle.

longbow more flexible and reliable for your projectile paths, once you mastered bow, u can switch to rifle imo

not many warriors like rifle style, i only use it for my pvp build

longbow would be more popular due to aoe choices of atks and the double projectiles for 1st skill, so the damage isnt too shabby comparatively

btw, does the longbow skills is different for each class? I tried ranger and the skillset for longbow is different than my warrior.

yes! every profession have their own different weapon skills!

no wonder la

bcoz ranger's skill 2 is continuous sho while warrior's skill 2 is 3-way fire arrow.

aye, you can test all the skills in pvp lobby.

which skills is useful for warrior? currently I only use the passive one, except the elite one. dunno if worth spending skill points on other skills

Wat are u focusing on right now? If doing map completion, all Signets build can go also, and maybe equip warhorn + signet or rage for perma swiftness

Later on if u wanna do dungeons/wvw, then other skills are much much more useful such as 'For Great Justice' aoe might, Banners to give extra attribs while doing dungeons etc etc

currently doing map completion. so going with full signets first

u can try the standard signet gs build

trait for lower gs skill cd and break lockdown on movement speed skill.

u can pretty much zip around a map in a short period of time lol

2ndary set can go warhorn and sword

oh yeah spare one utility slot for bulls charge

Is it normal warrior feel to squishy against boss? The boss use 1 or 2 skill and some random blow up and my warrior is dead.. is this normap

all classes are the same in term of base stat (except HP), even armors and weapons are all equal regardless of which class.

So, warrior is "tanky" because it is a warrior is a wrong perception. GW2 isn't like the normal MMORPG.

Anyway, in PvE, the meta is zerker and zerker gears are purely focused in DPS, it do not have any defensive or hp attribute. So, zerker are very paper, have to survive by avoiding most painful attacks.

i see..then my warrior is normal.. coz i feel my warrior macam assasin la plk... attack attack attack and avoid.. once failed avoid, your hp will be halved

is your warrior level 80 complete with levle 80 exotic gear and ascended trinkets? (amulet, back item, accessories, rings)

lel... baru join minggu lepas.. only level 40

things will be different once you are fully decked in level 80 exotic gear.
also depends on what stats combination you choose, and your style of playing.

finally reached level 80 for my warrior charr.

Exotics Gears are relatively easy to farm.

You get them from dungeons via tokens.
You can craft them.
You can buy them from tp.

The hard one to get will be ascended, it will take a month or two if you getting them through crafting route.
If you are hardworking, you can do FOTM on daily basis but only fotm 49 and 50 have significant chance of getting ascended armor/weapon chest. You need AR for FOTM as well, you will know what is AR once u start doing FOTM.

So, basically.

Exotic first through dungeons (token for dungeon gears or/and use golds earn to purchase from TP), then get your ascended trinkets through laurel (earn by dailies), guild commendations (guild missions) and low level fotm (recommended to have full exotic and start from lvl 9 at most if pugging without guidance).

Ascended armor and weapon can be obtain through crafting, means need to farm to get mats either through gold or pure farming. It also can be obtained through high level FOTM, rare drops from world boss chests and sometimes WvW rank up chests.

It is also important to research and decide on the build to use for your warrior so you won't purchase the wrong gears and end up wasting more time to gear up your character. Do note that PvE and WvW builds are different.
