My trip with Air Asia end of last month doesn't checked at all. Start from May, AA move to KLIA2, so maybe new security protocol will be applied. Better prepare for it.

1) 2 - 3 hours, so you don't need to rush to go to transfer counter. I transfer at Changi before in 1 hour, need to run to the counter.
2) more that 4 hours, yes you can but depend on how far the town is. Let say someone from another country transit at KLIA, I don't think 6 hours is enough to go to KL. For Dubai, 6 hours is enough, I have done that before. Kuwait, nope and shop at Kuwait city only open on certain time (last time i was there only open at 3pm until morning). For Malaysian, no need visa get out at Dubai but need visa for Kuwait.

Sure can, I have going out to town when transit for 4 hours.

BUT, make sure that you have all the required items. If that country need visa for Malaysian, you need to apply it 1st.

For Safety, any powerbank should be in hand luggage. Some airport not allow powerbank in check-in luggage.

Check your ticket, does the ticket show different flight number or same flight. Most of the time if just transit for 45minutes, you just need to wait in the same flight.

If you need to transfer to a new flight, then need to be really fast, next flight close the gate 20 minutes before departure.

The weight might be OK for empty 24inch but the size to big for cabin.

Yes, can, never found any limit but better carry just enough for 1 flight. ie: 4 hours flight, maybe for 2-3 feeding times.

Breast milk also can be carry, just pump before flight and put in a bottle.

My wife normally carry in small stack-able container with small opening, easy to pour into bottle during flight.



Just take note:
Actually, you're required to bring a bottle or a pacifier for the baby. Takeoffs and landings are high time for crying, because babies' ears are more sensitive to pressure changes. The descent can be particularly painful. As soon as the pilot announces you're about to descend, offer baby a bottle, breast, or pacifier to relieve ear pressure. If that doesn't work, gently rub your baby's ears.
