1. Use Adobe to edit the logo. The white line is too obvious.

2. Instead of HTML, code it in PHP.

3. Insert code to Center the page instead aligning it to the left.

How much willing to pay? A freelance good designer charge at an average of RM80 per page with PHP coding. Companies at RM100-150 (depend on company reputation).

Since yours is not even at average standard , I say I'll pay RM20-25 per A4/page.

I know you dont use any database, but using PHP is much easier for customization i.e color code, catalog etc

and later on when the customer decided to insert products they sell, it can easily be done without needing to rewrite the whole html code.

it can also be use to immediately add news to the site. do note that PHP is server side language, meaning it can manipulate data before reaching the target audience.

where's the poll..? tongue.gif

anyway, the most I'd pay for this whole static website is RM500 but I think some might feel it could be worth RM300 depeding on the level of each individual's ability.

why would I only give RM500 (based on my own skillsets) ?
- the banner needs a lot of work.
- the spinning world is 'flashy' but ineffective of value to the website.
- there isn't a Home button. (common mistakes normally overlooked)
- the title for the sections are misleading. placing an » title makes it look like a link.
- the need of troubleshooting the website. (table/DIV is spilling out)
- what's suppose to happen at Latest News?

I give an A for effort and hope you'll keep on improving. smile.gif

Either the server is slow or Streamyx is going throught its menses over here cause the server takes awhile to load.

i've changed a few things here and there...i think it looks much better and cleaner. still need to spend some more time editing the pictures to make them close to perfect.

one thing i notice is that in Mozilla firefox, everything looks as it should.
i almost forgot that people still use internet explorer. some things arent in place if it is viewed in M$ IE. any tips to make it work in both browsers.

thousand thanks in advance

I dont know too much about web design as I'm just going into it..
but if you had a client they wouldnt be too happy that the logo is not standing out from the background. The logo can hardly been seen and the buttons are more legible than the logo itself. Always very important is the logo, clients can get very anal about this and is a key point.

Another thing is please remove the rotating world, it doesnt fit in with the picture at the back and the logo. Another point I would like to point out is your colour scheme... you seem to have silver and gold, better if you stick to one monotone or try another colour scheme.

anyway keep trying.

i dunno.. myabe RM30-
probably because i don't really like uncompliant design.. (invalid css and (X)html) and,
the color blend isn't that good..

idea... you can add some style to the link color.. and probably change the color too.

note: i'm not a web designer... don't take my comment seriously..

azhartestad,

I do not design website nor I coded anything before on PHP. However, I have some experience in liaising with web designers before.

I can see that you have make some improvement, but I dont know what causes the web to load unbarely long.

I suggest you optimize the graphics and logo for web use. U can use Adobe Photoshop for that.

here dude, you have my respect for having the passion to improve and learn more new thing, which it's rarely to see within people nowadays, which do things half assed, learn half assed, and then quit, but charge people money full assed. that is why the industry is deterioting/rotting lol

well, look at more examples, although you cant do what the pros can do, but don't worry, as long you willing to learn (very important = passion), find yourself a 'mentor' that you look up to, and maybe an idol to be exact, look up at them and try to observe how they do webpages, it's okay to copy or follow, but don't plagiarize smile.gif

from there you'll notice you're improving yourself, believe me, by looking at website and study them like having food, or breakfast, you'll subconciously feeding yourself with good contents and how to make better sites, believe me, it worked. lol. imagine seeing 1000 sites per week (good one, bad one, any would do, at least you'll improve your analytical skill in deciding whats good and whats not), but of course hahaha, don't do it because of the sake you-have-to-do it, but do it with the ease of you'll feel comfortable and liking it.

that is how you'll grow yourself positively, respect and be respected. heh, maybe before looking into improving at a whole which it will take time, why not fix 1 at a time? (you're doing it now, i can see)

my advice is now, you can look up at tutorials, articles or books on how you can 'place' items properly within a 'grid system' so things would look more organized and comfortable. hey, keep it up (lol, overused word)

eh siaukia..

i think it's high time for you to explain the grid system in a visual format ler. not everyone imagines it like how'd you do it.

i'm too lazy to show a grid and besides, I try not to follow it too much coz i've the tendency of obeying by it too much. tongue.gif

i dun think it is advisable to code it in php... u can design it using CSS or DHTML unless there's sort of database in within the site.
