I dont know too much about web design as I'm just going into it..
but if you had a client they wouldnt be too happy that the logo is not standing out from the background. The logo can hardly been seen and the buttons are more legible than the logo itself. Always very important is the logo, clients can get very anal about this and is a key point.

Another thing is please remove the rotating world, it doesnt fit in with the picture at the back and the logo. Another point I would like to point out is your colour scheme... you seem to have silver and gold, better if you stick to one monotone or try another colour scheme.
