Just noticed some powerful synergy between bola shot and nightstalker on PTR!
Apparently, every explosion count as ONE CRIT (when your main hit crit), so against a lot of mobs, you will generate A LOT of disc.

What this mean is if there are 10 mobs around you, and your bola crit means you crit 10 times.
This, paired with the new buff to bola aoe (from 7 to a whopping 17) makes you proc really often.

I was just test driving farming MP5, messed around with my passives.
I dropped Archery, since I dual wield, the -10% crit left me with about 35% crit chance, but I still proc nightstalker a lot.
Disc pool went full after duration of gloom finished haha.
I had Prep on skill bar but never even need to use it. So happy I can finally drop prep for smokescreen to free myself against freeze now.

So, this basically makes Bitter Pill redundant I think.
If youre trying Bola Shot, I think the best 2 are imminent doom for dmg, but I prefer thunder ball since elite and boss can also be permastunned now.

Now its time to pray that Blizzard dont nerf it and make the explosion count as white dmg.T_T

i am quite satisfied with my current gear..so now wanna get some good weapons..i got my main already...now looking for offhand...did not realise good danetta price are . jewellery not gonna touch it yet as news on the net say there is a buff

i use bola shot all this while...before buff and after buff more gooding..
blizz goin to buuff it again...from 7 yard to 14yard explode...

just pray dead man lagecy wit bola shot skill not rise up...cause that is my next buy list/loot list...

After a lot of experiments, finally got a very good strafe build for 1.0.5.

At a glance, chain of torment, emberstrafe and shuriken cloud might look different.But upon closer look, you'll realize that they are all damage per second skills.

Total theoretical dps = 100%+34%+65% = a whopping 199% damage per second

Whats more is that they all proc loh.I actually got frozen without gloom on against 2 elite stack on MP5 and survive due to loh from cloud and chain.(they dont have desec or poison though)
The way I play it is just put sentry, strafe and pick up globes to regen hatred.Just phase through mobs to kill them.
Yep.You dont have to use gloom strafing into mobs(my AR is 500).I only pop gloom when Im recuperating for hatred.

Used to have doubts I could farm on MP5 fast (since my dps is 50k only), but this build clears all of them hehe.

Tried the build on MP10 but I cant strafe into mobs without gloom like I did on MP5 even after replacing bat with boar though.

Looks easy. I got too familiar with tanky barb+monk, the DH way of playstyle is really... hahaha

Accually DH style is hit and run but tank DH like me disagree by many ppl too coz low dps, high value build....

Range and melee is different playstyle bro..

Yes, you have to run..no choice. Speed boots + Lacuni is the best..cause can run as fast fast fast as "fast" mob. With vault + tactical advantage...DH is the Usain Bolt of Diablo3

So, what are the minimal stats I need to finish inferno?

offense: 2k dex, __%CC, __%CD, 1.8 attspd?
defense: 6k armor, 400AR, 30k hp?

DH got short cut on CC called Sharpshooter as a passive. Gives 3% CC per second which reset after crit. So you dont really have to stack CC and can focus on CD/ASI.

For me, I finished with lesser armor 4k (no buff) 450 AR. 30k HP. 20% base CC 350% CD and 1.87 ASI. LoH abit is helpful for inital stage against refelcts. LS better once your DPS goes beyond 150k (which is easy with SS). Again, MS is a must for solo, with gloom/Smoke screen. Prep is also very important. Extra disc will make life much easier..

Don't worry, now diablo inferno in 104 patch is so easy oledi, if wait 105 patch out, more easy too if choose mp0... I solo kill ghom and diablo in 103 patch. That's is a real hard time for DH.

Added on October 6, 2012, 2:35 pmThe best way is too farm with friends and share the loot. I have a total of 12k ish elite kills and a MF wiz running during 103 patch. Quit the wiz when 104 came out and i'm doing pretty well atm.
