270K DPS now and 280k DPS with scoundrel 3 percent CC. Would probably need a bracers with AR soon.

Yeah i do use TA with SS. Hmm, the way u put it, it means we can open up a slot on the passives if we use vault. Sounds tempting.

U're doing way more dmg that 162k with SoJ. The bonus against elites is A LOT. I used the DPS spreadsheet and saw a 30k boost. I kinda feel that SA is useless on high MP levels but only useful against ubers.

Echoing spike trap is another one that i have yet to try despite the good feedback from many DH. I just dislike slow casting animations like cluster bombs, scatter and etc.

Added on November 4, 2012, 1:39 amoh btw, for paragon leveling i think NS + Bat + Ball lightning is the most efficient way to farm MP1 or 2.

I think impale with GW sucks. I have been testing multiple hatred spender and it seems to me that uber wise, CA:CB seems to be the best.

Never did tried bait for trap as i feel is wasting one slot on my skill bar. I go with imminent doom for max dmg output if i go with NS passive or bitter pill if i go with SA passive.


What's ur EHP? I have approximately 280 to 300k EHP (not sure, site not updated yet) and i do fine if i'm careful. SS should do the trick. But if u wish to sit and shoot, then yeah u need more EHP.


Why is everyone raving about echoing blast? i find it slow, unreliable and worst u dont get to fully unload your hatred.


I'm still doing testing to find the best hatred spender. Impale with GW used to be the best until they nerf it.

I've tested multishot with suppression fire and BL and i must tell u BL is much much better. i have also ran with vengeance and BAT but BL still beats MS. The reasons are:

1. with NS rune, u crit way more often with BL.
2. BL has no blind spots but MS has a blind spot where if the enemy is too close, u're not gonna hit them.
3. The AOE dmg of BL is much much better than NS. Try spamming say 3BL and compare it to a MS shot.

I use gloom for the LS. Yeah kulle's fireball is going to hit hard but my HP pool is close to 60k so i can take the hit. Besides, we DH shouldn't be having the mentality of able to take hits. I normally SS away when the fireball is coming.


How much disc u have? i have 47 on standard fights and 57 with SoJ against ubers. So with NS rune, i can mix SS and Gloom.


Kulle's movement is just too much hassle for the aiming but if u have CM wiz then it'll be a different story. and LOL i didn't know u could drop 3 at once. I thought u could only drop 3 at once with scatter. Are u using custom engineering to drop 3?


Means i want to unload all my hatred within the shortest time possible. This is why i'm fond of CA and Impale but impale seem to suck lately.

If i'm not mistaken should be 4 bombs. The smaller ones are hard to spot. I'm not sure here. need more data. Damage of BL on MP1 is fine man. I have 1.98 AS so BL goes fast.

I will do that when i get my manticore and bracers. Now, nah.. fat chance to win..

Gotta clarify with u. Don't wanna be providing misleading information.

I told u that my EHP was 280 to 300k right? well, shockingly is only 218k now. I have no idea why. It was 256k when i had a 196 DEX vile ward. Made the upgrade to a 259 DEX 70 VIT vile ward and i loose EHP.

Before that, it was 370k EHP when i was using the 180DEX, 160VIT, 60AR belt. Ditch it and went Inna (has AR on the belt, so i'm just loosing 160vit). Thought that i could transfer the VIT on the belt to the shoulders and hopefully loose maybe 50k EHP max.

Well, i transferred 70VIT to the shoulders and loose a whopping 150K EHP? Just cuz of 90VIT? Please tell me d3up.com EHP calculator is broken.

P.S: Found the problem, was using a ruby instead of my amethyst. Well, my EHP is at 250K now. Is still very sad. Still don't get the decrease in EHP when i made the shoulders upgrade.

Nope, that's why i'm buying to break the 300K DPS barrier.

I've raised 57 GBP so far. Still far from the 250GBP target. Btw, why does it take days for the RMAH to clear a transaction? holy crap man..

Well, u know i'm starting to think AR is worthless. Okay maybe not worthless but having a high HP pool maybe lets u take one hit. I have low AR as well but 60k HP saves my ass most of the time.

and about control, yeah maybe. move shoot move shoot. I don't think we are losing DPS compared to those barbs that don't kite. Is like fast clicking if u get me. try to reduce the time between moving and shooting.

and besides, with that DPS, u melt things rather quickly. Hence, i'm going for that legacy zuni for this reason. Best DPS boot out there.

Yes. I'm thinking to do that la but don't take my word for it. I'm normally very wrong when it comes to AR and VIT. At least i'm getting the VIT part correct now. So got improvement

yeah, happen to me as well. feels numb.. I think most don't get it that our play style is not just static. Requires lots of clicking and movement to maximize our DPS output. But tank DHs can do the opposite which is kinda cool too..

THe signet in EU server is still the same. Damn. 30mil region.

Yeah, i'm looking for a sweet spot too cuz i'm never willing to invest in AR but yet curses when i make a stupid mistake here and there. Well, i hvae 60k HP and 298AR. Walking food i know

This manticore gives me a 40k DPS boost. But i loose 153 VIT by changing. So that's kinda messed up.

Added on November 5, 2012, 12:15 pmYeah NS is definitely gonna regen disc slower compared to MS:SF. I prefer it cuz is cheap and is sufficient to clear mobs. Maybe just different personal taste =)

but one thing i think we should go for BL is cuz on speed runs, we want to be always moving forward right? with BL, if u r moving forwards and the mobs are parallel with u, u can still hit them and the mobs infront at the same time without needing to back track. Is much stressful too =)

The max i can get now is say 60 on the bracers. I don't wanna be like rojak man, ok here ok there in the end not ok at all.
