Agree with that. I believe 920 has a simple, practical camera for the average users.

RM2.4k sounds bad enough on its own but when u put it like that it's even worse!
*
2.4K? i am not going even to bother to touch it in show rooms lol

but then on march 1, 2012. the price will most probably be at RM1500 .. you know after Nokia launched Lumia SUPERPHONES whistling.gif whistling.gif

To me the wireless charging is the least beneficial feature 920 has to offer. It's cool of cz but can't see the real point in it. And based on wp7, wp8 doesn't need quadcore 2.0ghz whatever processor to run smooth. Using inferior hardware it's fluidity and speed is already on par if not better than iphone. Apps will come if wp8 proved to be a hit.

Right now the only thing that could stop me from getting it is crazy pricing. We'll see.

just because Apple said its "pointless" now the entire herd is saying that its pointless?

Advantages of wireless charging:

1. Especially with Coffee bean signing up to provide wireless charging pad at Coffee Bean outlets will allow wireless charging for supported hand sets. If your phone's battery is dying, you can conveniently place the phone on the charging pad while having your lunch for example! This is especially usefull if you have important phone calls to make. No one carry their charger with them. VERY FEW carry USB charging cable with to allow laptop charging. Even less people carry around a spare smartphone battery.

2. With wireless charging, you do not keep on plugging and unplugging charging cable from your phone greatly reducing chance of spoiling the charging connector on the phone. I have personally experienced this on my motorola handsets. A charging pad can be permanent plugged to a socket. You just turn the switch on if you want to use it.

3. For users of multiple smartphones, more than one phones can be charged at a time.

4. Great designs of charging pad. the fat boy charging pillow for example - with its soft surface - making scratching your phone almost impossible.

5. Bragging right. Its cool. its something that an expensive iphone is too dump to do.

____________

So Tim Cook, i am not a CEO of the company of the worlds most used smartphone yet I managed to come up with five advantages of wireless charging to PROVE that you are WRONG. Wireless charging is NOT pointless as you have said so!

Err from how u take this personally, who's actually in a 'herd'? I didn't even know Apple say it's pointless.
It's lovely that u like it. Really lovely. Nokia needs followers like u to survive. I mean it's about time, Apple has had it for years!  rolleyes.gif

On a serious note, I welcome wireless charging but that's not why I want this phone. There are plenty other features in 920 that matter more to me.  nod.gif

its not that its more like i am passionate in hating apple. I cannot forgive a company to use $$$$ to promote bully in school. They did that for $$$$ via tv add . the PC vs MAC ad!!

the only thing that i'm afraid of wireless charging is when using in shops that provide the service.... afraid that i'll forget that i'm charging my phone then just leave the shop biggrin.gif
*
haha. i hope your meal table is the charging pad! how cool is that tongue.gif allocate 10 seats per outlet with built in charging pad on the table. Malaysia kenot - cuz manusia dengki will deliberately spill coffee on the charging pad lol lol lol

unles they improve the technology to lets say 2.5m charging distance.. thats cool you can make calls while charging your phone

The Lumia 810 is an exclusive to T-Mobile. Inside you’ll get the similar specs as the Lumia 820 - 4.3” ClearBlack display and 8MP Carl Zeiss camera, etc. - but you’ll also get a 1.2MP wide-angle Skype HD certified front-facing camera that’s 720p video-capable, a long-lasting 1800mAh battery, and optimizations to make it screaming fast on T-Mobile’s 4G network. It’s coming to T-Mobile in black, but you’ll be able to swap out the case for different colors.

samsung was not found guilty of copying the exterior designs. they were found guilty of copying software IPs.

No body would think that 810 is a iphone with the stark differences in the OS screen.

These models won't be available at our shores, I believe.

We'll only be seeing 820 and 920. It's restricted to US, due to the "exclusive" deals Nokia has with carriers.

Added on October 10, 2012, 10:21 am
If I'm not mistaken, the Lumia 810 doesn't come with wireless charging, hence the lighter weight. Also, it won't be able to switch covers like the 820. This is the major difference between the 2.
*
it has been confirmed that 810 has optional back cover with wireless charging
