I think the functionality is available for all Windows 8 phone devices. Why would Windows give preference to Lumia 820?

Once the phone is connected to your PC you can access both the SD card and the internal memory (just like the older Symbian phones); fro their you can access multiple files and folders inside the phone and drag and drop folders from your PC to phone & Vice Versa.

Yah the 920 doesnt have a SD slot. There's still drag and drop, I thought we were talking about drag n drop only..?

He clearly stated phone AND micro sd. Not micro sd only. and yes we're talking about drag and drop only. WP8 phones support drag and drop now.
Oh and new info about the OIS, Super sensitive touch and Wireless charging on Nokia Lumia 920.

1. According to the presentation, the image stabilizer is not used with springs as is the common understanding. Rather the lens inside, is floating in a special liquid that guarantees image stabilization even under difficult movement conditions.
2. Sensitive Touch technology used on the smartphone can be disabled as it consumes a little more the battery of the device.
3. Other info that we can give you the wireless charging through.Complete charging of the device using a wireless battery charging is done in a time of around 20% higher than the classic one with microUSB cable.

Recent announcement just made me hold back to get WP8 but the directx support sure is tempting, imagine your PC games running on WP8, I'm seeing some potential here.

Why the heck is HTC given the lead role in wp8 launch? Is it because Nokia fell asleep again? The 8X is touted as the 'signature' WP8 experience. Even wpcentral is using 8X for their WP8 review.

Kinda noob question, but can we transfer files using NFC with another phone of different platfom, but with NFC?

Because HTC has been Microsofts partner for so many years. If you go to the website also 8X is the main phone there. That's why Microsoft has been focusing on 8X and not Lumia 920. And that's a way of Microsoft letting the manufacturers know that they don't have one favourite manufacturer even though they have special partnership with Nokia.
Because they have a bigger market in Thailand and Vietnam. Bigger country = bigger sales. Malaysia is too small so not given much priority. Most probably we will get on the second batch only. Hopefully that's before next year.

What exactly is WP8 Xbox games and how is it different from normal games on mobile? Need to play online or something?

So far there are a few gripes of wp7 that isn't fixed in wp8.
- No separate volume control.
- no lock screen orientation
- no text reflow on browser
- wifi stops when screen is lock.

This 4 will annoy me a bit.

Wah Lumia 920 price in UAE is $639 ~ RM1950
Lumia 820 is $490 ~ RM1500.
Quite encouraging this
