i saw that you're having tiles on the floor. does it look slippery for him? if yes, keep an eye out for his legs.

My furkid is ok now.. got a small bump on the right side of his waist. We used hard boiled eggs to rub the swollen part.. hope to see it subside within a few days.. JRT likes to run at full speed and do sharp cornering.. currently my furkids favorite past time would be diggin for lizards in our little garden.. darn* he can spend a whole day there.. we brought him to do grooming.. he wasnt comfortable.. by the looks of it he was begging us to bring em home.. rolleyes.gif

I'm not sure about small dogs.. but bigger dogs like Huskies will have prob later. from | | , their legs will become / \ due to slippery floors due to their weight

Even my pair of labs at my mums hse start to have problem getting up from their sleep.. maybe their over weight. I just notice they walk slowly.. maybe its painful.. all this while they stay at the cement render area and some times on tiled area. I just think that bsides tiles, those timber flooring also same.. nod.gif

hey you seem to understand Jack Russells. biggrin.gif so i was just wondering, whether a bangalow with a porch that 4 cars can park and a garden which leads to the jungle ( if jump across the fence) suitable for a JRT. cos i used to have a golden retriever, a very good one. then next was a cocker spaniell, then next was a german shepherd, got it for 7000+ IT WAS A TOTAL RIP OFF! cos it died after 2 months when i was in shanghai on holiday. so sad right? so now, my parents are not that keen to getting a new dog cos they think they will only listen to the maid like the golden retriever did. cos like we dont really stay at home kind of people.. we go out for shopping and cinema for the whole day... so im not sure if thats suitable for JRT. BUT, i am always free on the weekdays. in fact, im planning to get a bicycle and ride on it with a JRT attached to it. smile.gif would that be a good idea? do they bite grass? are they as HYPERACTIVE as silky terriers? my cousin has one, it has sugar rush 24 hours. thanks hope you can help. and tips to persuade my parents???? thanks a lot. i owe you big time! can you PM pls? cos then it will be easier! or any other way ! thanks do let me know if you've replied by texting me 0122046063 KARMEN biggrin.gif:D:D thanks

from the way i see it...no u shouldnt get a jrt...
a jrt demands more than ur usual weekday nites companionship...
also from the way u interpreted ur lifestyle, the best is not to have any dogs...

thanks but for the past few weeks, there was a cat under a car like it was exactly where the engine was. So in the morning, my dad started the engine and ready to go to his office. all of a sudden, the loudest shriek came from the front of the car! and it was a kitten! the back legs were broken so me and my mom had to send it to the vet to do something to it or something. FYI, the german shepherd died of a sickness or somewhat disease! it was all sick and stuff when we brought him back... and the breeder ran away to thailand. SOOOOOO i just want a guard dog to be outside. not a pug, not a bulldog, not a housedog, not a tiny little dog. my mom doesn't want a german shepherd anymore cos she thinks it will overpower the owner. my golden retriever is very lucky now cos someone adopted him and now he gets to have his own house like literally, a huge one,not a canal! hahah so do you have any suggestionsss of dogs that are easy to take care or something... icon_question.gif

it seemed that the easiest way for u is to get an adopted mongrel at the local spca...this way, u can help to give the mongrel a better life & the mongrel can help to watch out for cats rclxms.gif

Yalor.. save a soul. Since ur a busy person. Best to adopt a mongrel because they can do a good job as well as those pure bred. Try PAWS.. they need our support the most. biggrin.gif
