Just got myself a Dell S2340L. Previously using a matte IPS monitor. I prefer the glossy screen, but I have to say it put much more strain on my eyes compared to matte screen.
How's the reflection?The LCD Monitor v12.

QUOTE(djlah @ Jul 11 2013, 09:00 AM) and also Dell Professional Series: P2412H, non glossy screen too but TN panel, cheaper than UltraSharp Series. If HDMI is important but not found in U2412M, can search for it's successor: Dell U2413, add HDMI 1.4 but removed VGA. It's not only regular IPS panel but is AH-IPS, as result better panel in 8bits, 1.07 Billion Colors, better color gamut, better response time. Other connectivity different is USB 3.0 with 1 power charging port. Yea I need the HDMI and I prefer non glossy haha |

QUOTE(djlah @ Jul 14 2013, 07:05 PM) not sure it's direct successor of LG 7 Series or not, price should be around your max budget but no idea whether it's already available at local dealer or not. For Asus, listed price is RM649, may PM zhen^wei for latest best price. If you need to buy monitor now without waiting anymore, I guess Asus VS239H-P is most close to IPS237L for you to consider since you said IPS237L no stock. other popular brands such as Dell or Samsung, their best model also met your requirements but out of your budget. Nah, not in a hurry yet |

QUOTE(djlah @ Aug 28 2013, 10:49 PM) oic... just found lingloong offer RM675. The Asus VX239h has built in speaker though not everyone needs it. Hmmm I am not very familiar with AOC brand. How are they doing?if you looking for cheaper model, can check AOC i2369Vm = RM630. same panel, AH-IPS. plus you get additional DP port & VESA mount. QUOTE(AaronFPS @ Aug 29 2013, 05:24 PM) No HDMI port |

QUOTE(AaronFPS @ Oct 2 2013, 04:22 PM) Need suggestions for a second monitor, i will use one for gaming and the other one for web browsing when gaming. AOC I2369VM is quite good as it is using AH-IPS. If can fork a bit more u can also go for Asus VX239H. The design for Asus is quite nice and it has built in speaker as well. The price is around 700. Dell S2240L is the best buy for IPS monitor but it's glossy...personal experience is that it IS QUITE REFLECTIVE. I am in the same situation as u now..trying to figure out which 1 to get. Very very tempted to get the Asus 1 as the design is nice and it's AH-IPS but budget issue XDCurrently using Dell S2240L, should i get another S2240L or those rotatable one? Budget RM400-RM700 I'm looking at AOC I2369VM RM649, but i prefer AOC IPS I2367FH. Any idea who's selling I2367FH? |

Eh, Dell S2340L is IPS while S2440L is VA? Which is better? Still doubting between Asus VX239H - RM 670, Dell 2340L or Dell 2440L
23" monitor seems small..27" seems expensive...can almost get TV lol EDIT: Wanted to get Dell U2312HM but it has no HDMI (Can be solved with HDMI splitter) but then no audio out...then it's hard for my laptop and ps3 to share the same external speaker This post has been edited by Duckies: Oct 15 2013, 03:34 PM |

QUOTE(all blacks @ Oct 26 2013, 09:28 PM) Finally bought the Asus VX239H.. Overall nt bad, gud choice for matte screen.. but I have to admit Dell's 27 inch was tempting.. Image looks nice but the reflection was the turn off point.. Yea..the reflective part is a bit turn off especially when u r gonna look at the screen for a long time QUOTE(firstknight @ Oct 29 2013, 11:13 PM) U2412M should be the best among all in that price range plus the warranty from Dell. The only disadvantage is that it lacks HDMI port QUOTE(firstknight @ Nov 1 2013, 03:21 PM) Got warranty? Coz some is ARB unit. |

QUOTE(lolzxx @ Nov 3 2013, 07:19 PM) ARB unit basically no warranty (except personal warranty from the seller like 7 days) but they are sold for a very much cheaper price (Almost half of the original price) I am not sure how to check whether an unit is an ARB anot though. This post has been edited by Duckies: Nov 5 2013, 11:12 AM |
